    Really? I could have sworn someone here said he'd been doing that! If not, I take it back. Bader is playing more than Larnach, and I'm assuming Bader is traded, but if Luke hasn't really played there, then I take it back.

    Almost no one thinks the Twins can get two top 100 prospects for either RP. But I agree I don't like any of these deals for Ryan.

    He's played mostly second since Lewis returned. All over, but more second. I'm not sure why he can't hit this year..... But it's concerning.

    Milwaukee traded Burnes and is still good. Losing a RP isn't going to doom this team to be uncompetitive, and if it does, then the team isn't all that good anyway. But I'd prefer they not deal any long term assets until the off season, unless they get a ridiculous offer.

    How'd they get Ryan again? You can get lucky....even getting one RP out of this dealing would help. It also frees up playing time for Martin, maybe Eeelse (I really need to look up the spelling), and I'm DFAing France and letting Sabato show if he can play or not. Gather data, experiment, see what you have or don't have. I agree that Lee and Wallner could improve, and I keep playing them (though Lee is bad since moving to 2B off of his natural left side, not sure what to do). I put Keaschell in left (unless they really believe he's the 2B of the future) or first (if he can't throw). There is no good reason not to see if any of these guys are part of the future or not.

    Lee played all of 15 games at second in the minors. He's literally learning the position right now. Because they insist that everyone play short in the minors and can move later easily, like Martin........ As to the topic, I think we're all going to be disappointed at the lack of action.

    Hopefully better than I! I had a really nice three round stretch, including my second lowest ever score, now I can't hit anything straight.

    CC, Jeffers, Vazquez, Buxton, Lewis, France only play one position. That leaves the corner OF where Wallner only plays right and Larnach left. You seem to think Bader and Castro and Lee moving around makes it hard for everyone to play?

    Rodriguez can't stay healthy......I wouldn't count on him. I wish we could. I agree they need a catcher. Three years since they overpaid Vazquez, and they don't even have a guy in AA .... Let alone AAA or the majors.

    Yes, this idea the Twins are outliers is always funny to me. The issue is talent, not batting order.

    You're looking at Ford or Ballesteros, which I'm pretty sure I spelled wrong. So Seattle or the Cubs. I think Seattle would want Jax and Castro. I'm not sure either alone gets him. Probably Jax and Castro for Ford and a SP ranked around tenth in their system who the Twins eventually after waiting too long, make a RP? Prospects, despite everyone here thinking they are useless, are highly valued by teams.

    What did you want him to do today? Start someone on less rest? Do we think Adams pitches better, based on what we've seen at far? I'm not sure what people expected given they refused to call up Ober.

    Janek is in A+ ball isn't he? He's at least two years away the way the Twins move catchers. But, ya, I do that deal every day. Maybe have them throw in a pitcher around tenth or so in their system and move him to relief.

    And Ober and Festa. How deep do you think any team is in starting pitching that is good? You wanted a guy that just retired he's so bad.....
