And this idea that some say he's young so next year doesn't matter either is bad. They don't have him until a certain age, they have him for 5-6 years.

what makes you certain they aren't? Or that it is the right choice given his current health? Why does this site assume the team/coaches/players are just not doing their jobs at all all the time?

Agreed. I'm trying very hard not to judge Turner, but failing. I loved the pick, but it's hard to see how he plays much again next year. I don't blame him for injuries.

I mean, one awful draft aside, he's done very good work. It all rests on McCarthy, but I'm not sure you can wait to see if he's good to sign him?

I see no evidence they want to make him a utility infielder. They needed a 2B last year and had Miranda up to play 3rd. They considered him as a possibility. They've never mentioned it again. Nor have they mentioned 1B. I'd prefer him at 1B when Keaschell is healthy, but that's not the same as the Twins doing so.

What are you talking about? They play him whenever he's healthy. I literally have no idea what this post is about.

Two lost years already. He could be in AAA right now if he'd been healthy the last two years, but at least AA and getting close to AAA. If he is finally healthy, and productive, he'll top out at AAA this year if everything goes great, but I'm guessing he's in AA all year and maybe plays in the AAA playoffs (if there are any for the Saints). The questions are: can he stay healthy? If he does, will the Twins aggressively promote him if he's great?

Royce at third, Miranda at first, Julien at 2nd. That's not hard. I don't know what to do with Royce at this point. I really don't, but there is not a bottleneck in AAA holding them back from sending him down.

Eeles at SS? I think they are trying to make him into Castro. Interesting. I'm ready for him to be back in AAA.

I'm curious where I said he needed zero rehab. We don't know what would happen yesterday or today before the decision is made not to promote him, though. We're going to disagree. I'm ok with that.

They could lose the division by one or two games. Or miss the playoffs. One or two games matters, imo.

There's no planet in which McCusker should be up for Wallner at this point.
