    Does being on the DL affect a player's eligibility for the playoff roster?

    I think trading Plouffe definitely should be considered. I think there are also positives in keeping Plouffe. He's a guy I like having on the Twins but I would understand if the Twins traded him this offseason. I'd shop him around and see what we could get.

    I wish we wouldn't have had to get rid of him in the first place, but we did. Now he doesn't fit on the team if he is even going to be playing anymore.

    I love that game. Not to get too off topic, but I had some funny unfortunate things happen to me my first year managing the Twins. Hicks and Nolasco had career ending labrum injuries. I acquired Brandon Guyer and he broke his finger in January during the offseason from being mugged while his house was robbed in the middle of the night. Talk about some interesting programming.

    Vielma deserves a bit more credit than this. Hitting .351 since the start of June deserves some more recognition than "nice hitting".

    I was very happy they signed him this year. I don't like the idea of signing him next year though.

    The Twins have 6 top 100 prospects according to MLB.com (including Buxton and Sano). The rest of the AL Central has 7 combined.

    I think Hu rose from something like #24 to #20. They used to include preseason rankings but they aren't there right now
