    I guess my first job that wasn't on my farm was as an umpire. Most days as an umpire are actually a lot of fun. You do get some bad parents, coaches, and sometimes players, which is unfortunate, but the vast majority of my time as an umpire has been fun and it's fun to be around the game even though I coach now as well. If you are interested in being an umpire, do it. Just make sure you know the rules and don't suck Yes my signature is a fun jab at umpires since I am one and no I actually have very good eyesight.

    He seems a little old to be jerking his knee around all the time. He should really start paying attention to his health.

    It's great that Berrios is called up and Duffey is getting another shot, but I hope Meyer isn't going to be used out of the bullpen. It doesn't make sense to me. Hopefully he pitches well anyway, as well as Berrios and Duffey.

    Awesome! It will be interesting to see what happens with the rest of the roster now. I'm still curious what the plan with Alex Meyer is. You would think with the way he was pitching as a starter that they would want him to keep starting.

    I wouldn't be against this. Dozier has been struggling at the plate and could maybe use some days off. Levi Michael may have turned things around when it comes to the plate. Otherwise I'd go with James Beresford. The only thing I see Mastroianni doing for the Twins is taking playing time away from Sano, Rosario, and Arcia.

    I love that game. Not to get too off topic, but I had some funny unfortunate things happen to me my first year managing the Twins. Hicks and Nolasco had career ending labrum injuries. I acquired Brandon Guyer and he broke his finger in January during the offseason from being mugged while his house was robbed in the middle of the night. Talk about some interesting programming.

    Vielma deserves a bit more credit than this. Hitting .351 since the start of June deserves some more recognition than "nice hitting".
