The Twins will need a starter this weekend in Milwaukee if Ryan can’t make his next start.
“Now comes the fun part. With roughly two months remaining, it feels like this division belongs to three teams.”
Not sure I’d count out the Tigers at this point.
A lot has been made of Joe Ryan’s second half struggles, but don’t forget about that offense. They’ve also struggled for the third second half in a row.
If the offense doesn’t figure it out soon, it won’t matter how Joe Ryan‘s back is doing.
He looked good at the end of LY and started off pretty good this season. Has had some good defensive moments, but has struggled at the plate. He doesn’t play enough to swap with a AAA guy.
Wasn’t really thinking about the game just the draft, but I see what you’re saying.
Overall thought was they shouldn’t have been buying if Buck and Ryan are injured.
They made the bullpen better and that is great. The problem now is that the bullpen needs a lead to be effective and we haven’t been giving them that with the starting pitching or hitting.
Joe not being forthcoming?

Joe Ryan has returned to Minnesota to be evaluated for a lower back injury, manager Derek Shelton said.
Ryan will meet with Dr. Chris Camp.
