  1. I wouldn’t hate if Jenkins and Culpepper traveled together to Milwaukee this weekend.
  2. Tigers about to take the series in Seattle. If we lose they pass us.
  3. Dan Hayes: MRI showed Joe Ryan has a mild left glute strain. IL stint likely. #MNTwins
  4. Bobby N: Related news: Zebby Matthews is no longer scheduled to start for the St. Paul Saints tonight. The Twins will need a starter this weekend in Milwaukee if Ryan can’t make his next start.
  5. “Now comes the fun part. With roughly two months remaining, it feels like this division belongs to three teams.” Not sure I’d count out the Tigers at this point.
  6. Saw a post by Mike Petriello asking about Obers home and road splits. Don’t look if you’re squeamish.
  7. Batters couldn’t see his pitches either I guess. Cameron had a 32% CSW (called strikes + whiffs)
  8. A lot has been made of Joe Ryan’s second half struggles, but don’t forget about that offense. They’ve also struggled for the third second half in a row. If the offense doesn’t figure it out soon, it won’t matter how Joe Ryan‘s back is doing.
  9. Gleeman: Royals are 8-4 vs. the Twins and 40-63 vs. all other teams.
  10. Tied with the Tigers for 3rd in the Central. Tigers win later and we’re in 4th.
  11. Nick Nelson stats 🚨🚨🚨🚨: 8 straight, 11 of 12. Twins offense cannot get going against opposing starters
  12. He looked good at the end of LY and started off pretty good this season. Has had some good defensive moments, but has struggled at the plate. He doesn’t play enough to swap with a AAA guy.
  13. You are all banned from swinging at the first pitch. Not good enough to be aggressive and when was the last time we ambushed anybody.
  14. Keaschall has reverse splits but maybe they’re getting too cute with the data?
  15. Time to see what the Maki pitching lab has done with Kremer. Batters you’ve been slumping long enough, LFG!
  16. Wasn’t really thinking about the game just the draft, but I see what you’re saying. Overall thought was they shouldn’t have been buying if Buck and Ryan are injured. They made the bullpen better and that is great. The problem now is that the bullpen needs a lead to be effective and we haven’t been giving them that with the starting pitching or hitting.
  17. He did hide the groin injury, a couple years ago. Thought he learned his lesson?
  18. If they knew about the Joe Ryan back injury at the trade deadline, then I change my grade to an F.
  19. Joe not being forthcoming? Bobby N reports: Joe Ryan has returned to Minnesota to be evaluated for a lower back injury, manager Derek Shelton said. Ryan will meet with Dr. Chris Camp.
  20. I gave a C - if the offense continues to be this bad the bullpen won’t matter though.
