  2. Kody - rather keep him and use him in a utility role, not the everyday player that he’s become. But if somebody calls, I’m picking up the phone. Rogers - doubt there is a market for him but if somebody calls, I’m picking up the phone. Larnach - yes, he will make upwards of $7 to $8 million next year and is not worth that, trade him for whatever you can get. Gomez - do not trade him, he’s got some team control and is one of the only good parts of the current bullpen.
  3. I liked the signing when it happened. We are now a third of the way through the season and it is clear that the Twins will not be in the playoff race. Hopefully he does well enough that we can move him for something at the deadline. He is not part of the twins future plans.
  4. That was after the Boston sweep. We’ve gone 4-11 since then.
  5. Gleeman: Twins started the season 11-7. They are 19-31 since, tied for MLB's second-worst record ahead of only the Angels.
  6. Good job Laweryson! Only pitcher to retire Dingler tonight. Also only pitcher who didn’t give up any earned runs.
  7. Scheduled bullpen game tomorrow and we had to use four relievers tonight. 🤮
  8. Quite a stretch here with Tigers, Cardinals, Rangers, Dodgers, Diamondbacks. We haven’t hit rock bottom yet, but it’s coming.
  9. 10 games under .500 by the weekend. Depressing.
  10. Melton only had to throw 11 pitches to get through that inning.
  11. Sometimes they look pretty good and sometimes I wonder how they’ve won any games at all.
  12. Roden looked good at FCL and is moving his rehab assignment to the Mighty Mussels.
  13. Trade him at the deadline. He’ll be due something in the $7-8mil range next year and doesn’t warrant that. Time to start making decisions with an eye towards the future. Roden’s rehab assignment is moving to Ft Myers and I’d rather see what he’s got.
  14. Like to see Bradley return to his early season form. Hasn’t been that good since coming back from the IL. Is Buck going to be back?
  15. Trade Bell for whatever they can get. Wallner can play DH and platoon with Martin.
  16. Not sure what to make of this Detroit series, but after that is a pretty tough stretch - St. Louis, at Texas, at Arizona, and then the Dodgers.
