Franchise Adams's Achievements

  1. Sure the Twins have a middle-of-the-pack strength of schedule, but the teams they more most closely competing with are Cleveland, KC, and Boston, and those teams all have a harder schedule. I think that's the main takeaway from the schedule comparison.
  2. And that was the Nelson Cruz for Joe Ryan year, which was a crazy good trade.
  3. I thought Chris Archer was a worse signing than Dylan Bundy that year. That 4-5 punch was a pretty brutal combo.
  4. I had to go back and watch the Sano walk-off error just to compare it to last night. That play was waaay crazier, which is saying something.
  5. Unfortunately, Isaiah Kiner-Falelfa's time with the Twins doesn't make him eligible.
  6. Thinking of the benefits of a lower K rate, I think of the error after Kirilloff's single. 2 runs scored in part because if you put the ball in play, crazy stuff can happen. Especially against the Royals.
  7. And with the All Star Break afterwards there will be lots of recovery time before the next game, so Jax and Duran can be leaned on a little more heavily.
  8. I was just thinking last night that it was good to see the Twins benefit from Buxton's speed, if not his defense. But then Icarus flew too close to the sun. It's a bummer for sure, but I don't think anyone expected Buxton to go through a year without some injury. That's the only reason we got him extended at all.
  9. Nice win! If we can win 2 of 3 at Fenway where in the loss Sale was good, Gray was shaky, and innings 8-10 were super fluky, it's definitely a successful series. (Even if the Tuesday loss was/is pretty frustrating.)
  10. Love it. Spending money on the right player is great, like it was for Correa. I'd also like it if they found a way to keep Sonny Gray.
