Tyler from Oregon's Achievements

  1. The Twins won this trade by no longer having to deal with Josh Donaldson.
  2. It really feels as though this is the last chance for Kirilloff. Have to imagine that, if he's unable to make it back and remain healthy enough to stick with the team, he'll have to stop being someone the organization continues to put development money into. He has the talent and the right attitude, and it's such a shame to see the wrist keeping him from his full potential. At some point you need to shift the resources towards someone who has more stability. I also believe that Polanco is gone next year, and I hope he can contribute this season. Another example of a guy who has so much skill and potential to be an All Star every year, and has just been extremely hampered by injuries. Hoping he can return and have one last big impact on this team.
  3. Very interesting article. I think I may have been feeling overconfident in Alcala due to the ERA.
  4. Quite frankly he needs to be playing in CF. He is much more likely to get injured running the bases than making outfield grabs at this point. Then Michael Taylor can be the backup he is supposed to be on this team. This team is so short handed at the moment, so putting him in the field doesn't necessarily free up the DH position for anyone of immediate value, but as the team gets healthier, or as AAA guys are ready, they need to be playing Byron in CF at least most of the time.
  5. There's only so much you can do when facing two top tier pitchers, but this offense has really mastered the art of disappearing when facing good pitching. Correa is also looking similar to how he did at the beginning of 2022. A lot of terrible swings.
  6. If Mark Contreras is playing for the Twins this season it's because there are significant problems going on, and the ship is sinking.
  7. These are all very realistic. That said, I think we are all sleeping on Correa. He was so good at the end of 2022 and I feel like he's going to have a monster season, after positively tweaking his swing late last year. My picks: Offensive MVP: Correa. The leader of this team is gonna lead. Pitching MVP: Joe Ryan. He's primed and ready to become a #1 guy. Sleeper: Kepler feels absolutely right to me. He's going to have the kind of season where they have to actually consider bringing him back next season. Super Sleeper: Larnach is going to hit 30+ home runs.
  8. Farmer has been fun to watch. He was definitely an underwhelming signing when we all thought he was going to be the starting SS, but man, he's a heck of a guy to have as a depth piece.
  9. We need a Zoom option so those of us who live in other states can day drink with y'all.
  10. I can't believe how intimidating Larnach has looked at the plate. Pretty cool to see since we weren't sure he'd ever properly recover from last year's injury.
  11. Other people have said it, but losing Coulombe while retaining Pagan feels like a slap in the ol' face of the fans.
  12. This has officially amped me right up. I honestly feel like these are all realistic!
  13. Pagan gets one implosion that causes a loss before I picket in front of Target Field for his release from the team.
