    if you can trade Alcala, great; if not let him go. history tells us, that he is 13th man on the staff guy. he simply is not someone that can be consistently counted despite his flashes.

    I'd like to see the Twins go with a 6 man rotation for a few turns through the rotation. Paddack looked good the past 2 starts. Longer term, I think he helps as a reliever. For now, I would send Alcala down.

    Launch Baldelli. It's obviously true that there are deeper issues with the organization, but firing Baldelli would be a start.

    Julien is showing serious progress! But I'm not with you on Gasper. I just don't see it. I can see him backing up first base and as an emergency catcher.

    I was at the spring training game against the red sox when Gasper was spiked. It was entirely his fault as he jumped in front of the SS who was about to make the play. He also threw a ball into the dugout; same game.

    We are all entitled to our opinions; however, what I've seen of Gasper has been terrible at 2nd.

    I've been extremely critical of Julien. I am thrilled that he is hitting but remain unconvinced that he can play 2B. That said, he's certainly our best bet now with all the injuries. Gasper can NOT play 2nd.

    Buxton has not hit to expectations, but he has been hustling. 4 SB's and taking the extra base.

    i think Castro already has 4 errors this year. Not all at SS

    I thought keaschel was playing some 2b with St. Paul as well as DH. if yes, i would call him up and let him split some time there as well as DH. of course, that rules out mccusker.

    As others have noted, the Twins have a lot of infielders whose upside is not high enough to warrant regular play on a good major league team. Lewis should be. Keaschel...we hope...please? I do like that Miranda was sent down the day he stopped running the bases. Martin would be up now if not for his injury, but let's face it; he isn't the answer either.

    Truly sad for Austin Martin as I think he earned his way back to the Twins before the injury.

    Your caveat is noted. Failing that, there is no way I would pull Ober. This is a perfect example of overthinking by the manager. Something Baldelli excels at.

    If only one Player then It's easily Gasper as most have said. I think several moves should be made: Lee UP and either Martin or Keachel as well. Gasper released and Julien sent down. I've been quite negative about Julien; however, he is showing some signs of life. He needs to be at AAA to truly get it together with his hitting and finding a position.
