  1. Anybody else getting tired of the baloney that Falvey continually spews out?
  2. Santana flashing that awesome mid depth outfield power. Ugh.
  3. He does, but he's got too much class to say anything derogatory. Did you notice, he said "eased" when he talked about leaving? Yeah, he was eased all right. He was eased to the door.
  4. They spent all the cash on those fantas...uh, grea...uh, goo...uh, borderline FA's we got. No money left for Bremer's home town.
  5. Still pretty windy today. Anything in the air could be interesting. At least it's not as bad as yesterday was. Dick Bremer is supposed to throw out the first pitch. I'm still getting used to Cory doing tv...it feels like I'm watching radio! DOH!
  6. It's way too early to panic. They were the exact same way thru a decent portion of last season too. Give them a little time to find the groove. If we're still doing this on August 1st, then I'd go low on the Defcon scale.
  7. Hopefully Paddack doesn't make an early trip to the paddock with the other horses.
  8. Our guys are looking just as bad at the plate, as they did in the last KC game. They better not let Junis beat them.
  9. Fall flat? They got absolutely waxed! Ober was putrid, and the bats went to sleep. Get this stuff out of their system now.
  10. Wow! This is just brutal...and it's only the 2nd inning!
  11. I hope everyone has a good Easter, whatever your traditional celebration may be. I might be switching over to the golf shortly.
  12. Ober's throwing cookies up there. Get the pen ready.
  13. Was kind of hoping that Royce wasn't going to go IL, but it's not a surprise. A short stint, heal up, and get back to raking in a couple weeks. Meanwhile, the other guys have to pick up the slack. Good luck to Martin.
  14. I've been following MLB since the early 1960's. I've been around the block more than a few times. Lewis has the most positive attitude, and best outlook, than any player I can recall. He's taken some real tough shots and come back before. He'll do that this time too. Hopefully, it's just a very short term injury and fast recovery. We need him in the lineup and he'll be back soon.
  15. Didn't take long for Pablo to give it back.☹️
  16. Looking forward to an exciting, successful season. Staying as healthy as possible and watching the rest of the central in the rear view mirror. GO TWINS!
  17. Nice to win one for a change!
  18. Louie's last two starts have been terrible. He better get straightened out once the season starts. I just hope that we don't regret not bringing another starter on board. I think we're gonna need one.
  19. I don't think the Twins have to worry about KC yet. It's Detroit that I'm concerned about. They've got a very good young core and are getting better fast. They could be real trouble for us.
  20. Another big fly against one of our pitchers. With two on. Those really hurt. Sale looks pretty good for Atl.
  21. I'm gonna miss him. He was terrific in the short time we had him. I wish him the best.
  22. Jesse Chavez. Anybody seen or heard from him? Does he qualify as a former Twin? It looked like we had him for a few hours, but it was a pipe dream. He was great while we had him. Would love to see him come back!
  23. BRILLIANT! I'm looking forward to us "not signing" Juan Soto!
