    Not a fan of the pitch clock, but also not a fan of watching someone like Alexander Colome get the ball back from the catcher, take off his hat, wipe his forehead, replace his cap, massage the baseball all while checking the sky in case Skylab is falling, finally looking to the catcher, deep inhale, exhale, shake off the catcher, wipe his cheek with his shoulder, nod the catcher, exhale again, step to the rubber and finally begin his windup....

    I see quite a few touting Miranda as a solid backup. A) triple A success doesn't mean he can handle major league pitching. That needs to be proven B ) they are not going to keep him here to sit on the bench. He either starts or they move him Just the opinion of an old guy

    They'll get production one way or another. I miss Cruz like crazy but I don't miss wasting a roster spot for a guy that can't play defense. We may already have guys playing defense that can't play defense...

    I don't have much confidence in him panning out. The loss of velocity is definately a huge concern. But lefties seem to get longer leashes when it comes to development.

    I'd say those are things to watch. I'd want to see Alcala's confidence level. You can see it in his face when he pitches. He's much better when he has it. Keeping an eye on Buxton... Keep him in a damn bubble... I almost forgot Kiriloff's 0-14. I once went 0-14, and I turned out just fi.... Never mind.

    Now that I've had a little time to process, the end result of two trades We downgraded at catcher We downgraded at 3rd We still have no SS.... Yeah there better be more moves coming.

    Sabato is a surprise, to me at least. Minaya was one of their more reliable relief guys in the second half last year. He's got to have a legitimate shot at making the team. And of course we all want to see how Martin stands with the big guys.
