Lions lose tomorrow and next week and they fall to the 3 seed and road game in Philly if Eagles win next week. So they have real incentive to win. -
If there was ever extra incentive to win a home game vs the Packers, this week sure as hell is it. Tough test, but if they can win, what a set up for week 18.

I am having a hard time seeing the Vikings win in Seattle and then also beating the Packers and the Lions, but if they do, there is a very strong chance they are 15-2 and don’t get the #1 seed. That would be unbelievable on a number of levels. Still, getting the division crown would be a big boost; two home games vs two road games is a major difference.

No offense to Festa, but it seems to me the “X Factor” in the Twins rotation for 2025 is Griffin Jax.

Keith Law published his post-draft Top 60 Prospects list on Thursday, and Zebby is #60 on the list. Here’s his write-up in the Athletic: Matthews was an eighth-round pick in 2022 out of Western Carolina, but since then he’s added more than a grade of velocity while actually improving his control. He sits 94-95 now, topping out at 97. Matthews has a slider, cutter, curveball and occasional changeup, nothing clearly plus but everything playing up because he throws so many strikes — he didn’t walk a batter until his seventh start of the season, going over 125 batters without a walk — and because he’s got an extremely short arm action that adds some deception. I don’t love the delivery, but I wouldn’t change it until it causes a problem.
