  1. The pitch clock and not allowing the batters to take a walk-about every pitch made the game shorter and not annoying hour longer than they should be; not even remotely related to an electric computer umpire.
  2. Buxton is just odd to me; Kirilloff made some great stretches for not quite accurate throws, but Solano is NOT as good a fielder as Kirilloff. Gallo, bat stats. or not is a GOOD fielder, and was no worse than Buxton.
  3. I am riding a train with rails before welded rails and the liquid level is just bounching around.
  4. The 2024 post season, or regular season, has ZERO to do with todays failings.
  5. Julien has been as lost as the other rookies. Castro, Correa, Kepler and Polanco are the only batters with a .225 or higher Batting Average.
  6. Yeah it is only one game and would be the end of the season. Wallner and Julien have been on a downward slope for at least a month; Lewis is being judged by his home runs, not his over all play, unfair to him. The strike out demon has reached those who were not horribly infested earlier: yesterday Kepler hit two pitches for foul balls then watched one go down the middle of the plate; Lewis was chasing pitches without contact. Regardless of pitching ; Kirilloffs error did not lose the game. Gallo probably would have made that play but then his batting may have been identical to Kirilloff's.
  7. Everything, no excuse for not beating Houston, simple as that.
  8. Kansas City took 4 of 5 from the Astros, so there is no honest excuse if they lose.
  9. We have one pitcher as good as theirs, it ends there it seems.
  10. Then no one had better complain that the Twins are losing, get real.
  11. His massive .133 BA speaks for itself.
  12. Strike out demon has returned to the Twins.
  13. Then EVERY double play is a good at bat, get real.
  14. This game seems Very similar to a regular season game against Houston, when the announcer said that Maeda got the first , first batter, for the Twins, in the game.
  15. Poor at bat, luck had squat to do with it.
  16. Yep, Jeffers is sooo much better with the bat than Vazquez; SIT him tomorrow.
  17. Start yesterday's team tomorrow. Minus Kirilloff.
  18. Hrbek was alot better than Kirilloff, at this point, whereas Knobloch, who I never liked, is just plain a lot better than Julien; the rest pretty fair observation.
  19. It was not a drop off; Polanco should never be at third and Julien should not be at second in the Post Season.
  20. They dumped good players and it shows.
  21. Kepler does hit, but when he does not, he looks like he trying get a walk, not a hit.
