  1. Still better than Verugo without exception.
  2. Lee's defense numbers Minors: Julien's defense in Minors: Julien is not good .968, Lee is worse, .947 & .954
  3. Lee has a worse fielding percentage in the Minors than Julien, at that, he plays Third Base and Short Stop. He may make it out of the Minors eventually but it won't be next year; there is no spot that does not have better options.
  4. Good Grief, If they are Major League ready they will end up in the majors, some day, only when they are ready. The Twins are not a -- school for not ready for Prime Time players. There is no such thing as blocking, not good enough to come up, they won't; the Twins have had enough situations with Rooker, Celestino, Cave, Hicks time. The Twins are not a school for learning.
  5. Kepler's numbers are superior to Verugo's without exception.
  6. Santander is a a hole in the defense; Soto cost far too much and the other two are going nowhere.
  7. How many Minor League games has Martin played in Center Field -- 12 -- with a .971 success rate, below his .974 rate in 46 games at Second Base. He has not shown he is good enough; wishful thinking does not win games.
  8. I hope he comes back and what his pay is, is of Zero concern to me.
  9. IF, a big IF, Sano could field even close to as well as Gallo, he might have lasted one more year.
  10. He also had a double in that game.
  11. A bat hitting a ball ALways has a chance to be a hit; a bat missing or sitting on a players shoulder , Never has a chance of being a hit. That reality can never be changed.
  12. Twin Cities stations bought up (and shut down some) private channels. The ones still used could broadcast Twins games, and they can be recieved via antenna with few exceptions. St.Cloud is a dead spot for old school signals, and WCCO killed the Alexandra station which used to have great programming.
  13. LOL -- Jake (Charlie Hustle) Cave is one player whose ability just dropped every year, from a very strong start. I am amazed that he has very good numbers in Right Field, better than Wallner, but his bat faded away quickly. So many Twins rookies have done/are doing that, it just took Sano longer and his fielding was meh on his best year.
  14. Yep, trade him for another run-at-will catcher that turns a walk into a double after a few pitches.😂
  15. Gallo had 21 home runs and was an excellant fielder; comparing him to Sano's last time with the Twins is obtuse. At that , I had forgotten how huge Sano's collapse between '21 and '22 was.
  16. Interesting read but the point was made if Polanco is still around he plays 2nd, not Julien and Julien at first is a butt clenching matter.
  17. I am surprised he is not over seas with La Tortuga. But unless he went on a real diet, he is going nowhere.
  18. In 2021, Kepler was 10-0, Gordon was 10-1 and Polanco was 11-6 in stealing bases. (the top three) In 2022 no Twins player had more than 6 stolen bases. I am skeptical that Baldelli will encourage more players to steal bases next year.
  19. Yet inspite of his short time here, so Many, are touting him as the future great Ted Williams, of the Twins, so far he has looked more like the MIghty Casey. You cannot have it both ways.
  20. 3 for 19 says far more than the number you posted.
  21. It would seem most of the people picking a team were not around from the Twins beginning era, so some choices leave out good men known only on paper. Leo Cardenas had 3 of his top six years with the Twins; he was what most think Correa was going to be. Tovar has to be on any all time team. Don Mincher was a superior 1st Baseman but Calvin who has a baseball eye for good, bad or other wise for some reason let him go when he had his 3 best years, (MVP) ever the next three.
