  1. Step down, he is a flight of Stairs. Santana is here because they need his defense; I doubt they will let Third Base become a free hit zone.
  2. I doubt the Twins grabbed Santana for his bat, though not too bad, I would split a bet 98.6 against 1.4 that he was picked-up for his defense. To change topic: Julienn at 2 nd is not a fumbles Foreman, but to make sure he does not fumble he is SLOOOOW, not a good thing; we will miss Polanco greatly, ESPECially if his Sprint Training numbers hold up.
  3. Gee one whole game but at that , Jeffers had a good Spring Training and was absolutely Lousy yesterday!
  4. Lewis had a good start before the owie; the longest ever hit streak consecutive is 12 at bats. I wonder what his OPS would be if he duplicated that. ========================= In other news: what could have been a Twins team , Arraez, Gordon , Rooker, Sano, Hicks are all hitless in their first game, with Arraez going 0-5.
  5. I checked Witt Jr.s number at MLB, it has been a long time since the Twins had some one hit field successfully at an early age.
  6. These are still the Twins, and Lewis is not batting.
  7. So far only Castro, Kepler and Jeffers are playing like it is a - meaningless - Spring Training game.
  8. MLB computer batters box, says they are strikes.
  9. Twins lead - 22 Ks to 7 Ks.
  10. Wallner almost passed him.
  11. His Spring Train K numbers, started going up fast int he last half of ST.
  12. Meaningless to you, but you are not in the Twins Org.
  13. Kirilloffs .000 againt Left Hand pitchers is a bigger reason to worry.
  14. Kirilloffs batting average in Spring Training against Lefties was .000,. Santana is going nowhere but to First Base, most games.
  15. I doubt they are worried
  16. I have a feeling , April for Minnesota will be just as important as September. A collapse in either is game over.
  17. Sano had 3 more strike outs, 1 more stolen base and 6 more hits than Wallner; maybe we can trade heads-up. 🤔
  18. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/angels-miguel-sano-makes-opening-day-roster/
  19. Rookies seem to have saved the day in the last Spring Training game.
  20. NOT a good start for Kepler, his K rate is up the past ten days. Maybe he is trying some thing new. 🙃
  21. With the exception of Buxton, all the out fielders are underwhelming.
