  1. Twins base running needs a little fine tuning, Gonzalez picked off and failed to steal second. Margot is not whiffing as much as Wallner but those two boys need to change some thing.
  2. He is generating a LOT of Strike Outs and nothing else. At that, Kepler and Margot are not a heck of a lot better at this point.
  3. Hmmm, Garry's BA and OPS last year in 11 games was 000. Doing well against Spring Training pitching may, or may not, mean much depending on the pitcher one is facing; doing lousy against Spring Training pitching means a lot, if you can not hit against any one here you probably will be a failure in the Big Show. A high K rate here will probably follow the batter to the regular season. If it meant nothing , there would not be visits to the mound by coaches or batters taking a time out, as why would they if it was meaningless?
  4. As spring training means nothing, 💩 , Wallner's strike out percentage is now 51.7241379% but we all know when regular season starts he will maintain at the Mendoza line.
  5. Julien is not even average yet.
  6. When the Major League coaches think you will not be eaten alive by Major League pitching. Twins had gent last year who dominated in AAA, and was in a world of hurt in the Bigs.
  7. Against a AAA picher and one whose ERA last year was over 7, he is ready to do very well in AAA but that is all that is for sure.
  8. Julien is not set any where and right now Wallner seems to be trying to get sent down to St. Paul.
  9. So far, Vazquez has thrown out 5 to Jeffers 2 but Jeffers bat is in the lead.
  10. Worrying is a waste of time, the Twins do what the Twins do, but what they will do and why is, can be, an eye raiser.
  11. March 15, 2024 Fifty percent strike out rate. A 2023 Gallo without the fielding skills.
  12. He will still be here in 2025,-26-27 or more.
  13. Contreras had three pitches down the middle of the zone and waved at all three. I wonder why he is not a Twin any more.
  14. (Red Sox) - Refsnyder : broken toe after being hit by a pitch. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/03/rob-refsnyder-suffers-fractured-toe.html
  15. Apparently , not strike outs.
  16. Opinions vary, but the Twins coaches count most.
  17. Baseball Ref. numbers say so, not hard to find , or see.
  18. Wallner got a two run home run today, March 13, 2024, so maybe he is getting it together.
  19. Kirilloffs defense numbers at First Base last year were worse than Sano's worst numbers ever at First Base; they simply probably do not think he is competent enough at First Base so they brought some one in who will be.
