    With six games left, the Twins need every player on the field to perform , at mimimum, at their career average. Right now, most are below it and making their average lower.

    A lot of whishful thinking - he is hurt - excuses but what you see may be all you will get., at that, at the end of last year and the start of this year, Wallner absolutely stunk, but he went to AAA and improved. Now he may never be better than a young Joey Gallo but he improved. Such MAY be the road for Lewis,

    He has done a lot of nothing with runners in scoring position often; he was fortunate with having he bases loaded witht those home runs, NOT that he is a wonder with a bat. More like Buxton, good streaks and horrid slumps.

    The issue with the Twins is Lee and Lewis are lousy fielders. A team that fails at small ball, cannot afford poor fielding.

    They are big boys well paid, cannot handle it , find a different job.

    The season was 154 games for a long time; 140 is WAY too short. But then, the hockey season is starting NOW and will run till May-June? Baseball need more exposure, not less.

    That pretty has applied to darn near every player on the Twins team.

    Each human body has X number of repititions on a part till is goes Pffft, the harder you push when younger the early it will go Pfft.

    Using drugs to over come injuries is some thing that most likely was common in the past; I do not mean performance increasing drugs, I mean the kind that reduces the pain/s so one can push harder than without the drugs.
