Hope , there is that word again ... Rojas hardly has pitched this year at AAA and he's now been promoted with the club in New York ... Are the twins putting him in a situation to succeed , is it good for his development , i question that and we'll see ... Not many homegrown prospects are succeeding in the organization , Raya comes to mind , we hear all the hype of the prospects only to see our homegrown pipeline of pitching never materialized on a consistent basis ... Rojas has issues and has been promoted , but that's nothing new the whole team has issues , did he earn his his promotion ? , probably not with just a few innings pitched this year in AAA , if he gets into a game to pitch before funderburk comes back let's hope his label as a prospect shines ... -
Let's not over react , hopefully it's a short term injury and Abel can comeback this year .. Duran went on the IL list just recently , is that any consolation , are the Philly fans saying they got fleeced ....

This is the worst news losing another starting pitcher , losing Lopez was bad enough this spring , we're not showing enough depth at AAA to keep replacing our starters at the mlb level due to injuries or inability to produce quality innings at AAA ... Rojas and Prielipp will now be given a chance the can get mlb hitters out ... Well we had a good start but the bad luck is showing itself again ...

Good analysis nick ... Sloppy Sloppy baseball , the heart aches when we lose the lead and then lose the game ... Lots of Sloppy defense , official scorer neglected to call some of them errors during the series ... I'd be happy if they could win one then lose one and win one and so on , losing 4 in arow puts us right back as a non-competive team , last years players haven't improved much , the new acquisitions , bell , caratini , gray are doing okay , Bell leads in average and rbi's , buxton has a few good games offensively and a few bad games , need more consistency from him , Buxton's defense has been good ... Let's hope for a better week on the road against Mets and Rays ...- 32 replies

I'm pissed again , I keep thinking about what Tom Pohlad said , we will be competitive , just when you think he may be right , the ship sinks by 4 torpedoes to a 4 game losing streak ... It won't be easy in New York at Queens , they may have lost 11 in arow but they can taste victory with twins coming in ... Bell leads team in average and rbi's ...

It was a good game and then it wasn't ... Bradley pitched well , we scored some runs early but some later clutch hitting never materialized ... I can't believe the score keeper didn't rule the twins any errors , cause some of the plays were easy enough to warrant an error ... Wallner striking out to end the game says it all , sorry Matt , get your head out of the clouds , it's unacceptable , he not the only one either that needs to ride the shuttle ...

A tough game too lose , it was winnable , lots of fly balls and not enough situational hitting ... Everything about the game was cold ... At least wallner didn't challenge a swinging strike tonight ...

The difference from the last few years to this season has been remarkable scoring runs in scoring position with 1 out or less , last year it was load the bases with no outs and they could hardly manage to hit a sacrifice fly ... Its a small sample size and with new coaches , GM and Tom and his promise that the team will be competitive , if the players can maintain their confidence maybe they could finish 500 , I would say that would be a step in the right direction ( i never would have said that at the start of this season )... The last few years or actually 4 out of the past 5 years it been nothing but a negative attitude towards the team , PBO and owners ... A positive attitude we have right now , id like to keep it positive ...

I'm all for the starting pitcher going extra innings , if he's reeling and in complete control and a low pitch count, a shut out would be nice to see ... They're the best athletes on the field ...

Was there any action taken against the individual who made the remarks to go kill himself ??? Was he a twins or Boston fan , it really doesn't matter you are there for the entertainment you paid for , he crossed the line of heckling with the remarks and should be banned from all mlb stadiums ...

Mama said there would be days like these and she was right .... Sloppy game , not all SWR 's fault , defense and offense .... I like the Reds and Tito but I sure hope we win the series ... When you win 3 series in arow you start getting used to it , hope a day off the players rejuvenate themselves to play better ...
