They are just telling fans what fans want to hear , not what needs to be heard ... They say we are on the right track , I hope it isn't on a track with another train wreck heading straight for us ... Yes our patience is thin and the games are barely watchable , but I catch every game on radio or streaming ... I look forward to next season with a new manager that can instill some life in his players with the proper honing of skills , we can't live on hope that the players will have career years ... Im not having any twins baseball withdrawals and I'm glad our crummy season is over , I also see the team moving on from Lopez and Ryan and I don't blame them if they request a trade , if they request or demand a trade it only shows how poorly run this team has been , if we lose the 2 starting pitchers would buxton follow , I wouldn't blame him either .... I stated in Rocco's 2nd year as manager that I could not play for him or the plan that the falvine wiz kids implemented , the reason I didn't state this in his 1st year as manager was because he didn't have to manage that year because his players had career years , it was our last fun year of Twins consistency ...

Anything is possible if you look outside the box , it's worth a look ...

Seize the opportunity ... One person that didn't seize the opportunity was our past manager, finally getting his walking papers ... Falvey hasn't lived up to giving the fans anything close to a perennial winner .... Owners have no business owning the team and failed to seize an opportunity to sell the team for more than the estimated value of the team , ( with contracts like ohtani , Soto and others it's time to sell because they just can't compete or are not willing to pay free agent money ) ... Seize the moment #2 .... SWR , keaschall , Martin , Clemens , maybe fritzgerald as utility , I kinda thought perrede the catcher was seizing an opportunity and last but not least , lefty funderburk, starting from the allstar game on performed well with just a couple of clunkers ..., no one else really coming to mind except for a couple of AAA players that should have been given a 40 man roster spot to play on the 26 man roster , it couldn't have been worse ..

It's a no brainer , the twins organization needs to win back the fan base , what better way than to hire a loyal twins fans that wants to win ... Thank you , thank you very much ... I'll accept the vacancy to manage the twins to glory , it worked in the movies ....

I got to admit , I wish I was with you , it would of been hilarious to banter the twins personal ... Telling a concerned fan to leave tells you all you need to know about the organization and how it operates , they don't care about the fans ....

I cannot get excited when the front office raves about the pitching or position prospects in the system ... what they have accomplished in the minor leagues They still have alot to prove at the major league level ... They haven't developed enough in my opinion to be considered successful , they haven't really proven anything with homegrown prospects , like mentioned by others our starters are players we traded for except for Ober ... Take it for what it's worth , trust the front office or don't trust the front office ....

I want a manager that has the guts to win in extra innings .... A manager has to manage not just the club house and lineup card but all aspects of the game ... I want coaches that know baseball and players strength and weaknesses and hone those skills , I dont want 3rd base coaches like Watkins ...

What would you think of Mike Redmond as a manager and tori hunter as the bench coach ????

Mariners and Milwaukee in the series , Seattle has never been there , Milwaukee lost to st Louis in 1982 ... Would be nice to have those teams and only one comes out a winner with a parade ... Padres have been there a couple of times and haven't won a world series either, but I'm not sure they can get there ...

Here we go again , why can't he just keep his nose out the selection , you hire someone that you feel is capable , you show your trust in that person and let him or her make their selection ( the her might just be a possibility ) ...

You've been reading my posts over the years , I've been saying for 6 years after 2019 playoffs that this team will never win with Rocco and falvey and their plan ... Every year was the same , never a contender , just a team constructed to win enough games to draw fans to target field ... lousy pitching , good hitting teams ... then we finally build a solid rotation and some bullpen arms and then have no hitting ... The front office can not build a team with consistency , even though they were given the highest payroll in our division and spent foolishly

I just had a thought on the extension of Rocco after the 13 game winning streak ... It's never been confirmed that the twins did extend Rocco's contract , it's a good guess they did ... By the end of June they realized that was probably a mistake , so pohlads go to falvey and says get rid of Rocco and at any cost ( and the cost eventually was the fans ) , so falvey devised a plan to have Rocco resign as manager at the cost of the fans , at the deadline he goes to Rocco and says we are selling off the bullpen , everyone that will get a return and all impending free agents , so falvey hoping Rocco would say , I can't win with no bullpen and some lineup pieces so I'm going to resign as manager ... If rocco had resigned as manager after the deadline implosion he would have forfeited his remaining salary and salary for 2026 and saved the pohlads some money if he was actually given the extension ... Does this theory have any merit on how the owners and front office would operate , because that's how I see the owners and front office , sleazy , stab you in the back just to save a buck ... Twins daily , please don't sell my identity to the twins , they'll just lose another loyal fan ...

Seems like the perfect candidate falvey would choose .... The real fans of the twins finally won 1 out of 3 so far , i know God has nothing to do with baseball but I thank him just the same ... Next 2 the fans win are falvey's replacement and a new owner that actually likes baseball and wants to win ... Fans want the glory days , , we want to win ... we should be a rejuvenated team in 2026 and play better all round fundamental baseball with a new manager and new coaches that will take the players and teach them a better way at the hardest level ... we needed a new spark and if rocco gets another another job as a manager , that team is insane to higher him ... Im sorry but rocco is not a major league manager , and now finally with his firing , I have been proven correct .... What took so fr****n long , I'm sleeping well tonight and the off season is shaping up on its first day ...

Thanks nick for the reviews weekly , ups and downs with very few highlights except for the 13 game winning streak ... Starting Pitching was our strength , bullpen on paper was the best in the league and sold off at the deadline for a low-light of the season , a dreadful idea with really no depth to fill those vacancy ... We have the off season to fill out the bullpen as we can shuffle some of own homegrown starting talent into bullpen arms ... Season in review ... The lineup failed miserably , their approach failed miserably , pressure situations failed miserably , lineups that performed one day were replaced with a different lineup the following day , no consistency to the lineup failed miserably , the adjustments never came and failed miserably ... Baldelli and some fans mentioned we had no speed on the bases , after deadline trades the players showed they could steal bases with consistency and from what I heard it took a coach to advise Rocco to be more aggressive on the bases after deadline trades , find a lineup that works and stick with it , give the lineup a daily routine they are comfortable with and some wins will come your way ... Fundamentals failed miserably , top draft choices are failing miserably at this level , Rocco is in charge but he and his coaches don't appear to be good instructors in teaching the prospects to play at the hardest level ... Some Prospects have earned their promotions through the minors , some have been promoted to early to the MLB level , you have to take the prospects talent from AAA to the major leagues and have to continue to teach and develop these prospects at the hardest level , IMO that is where Rocco and his coaches failed miserably ... The key word is miserably ... The organization failed miserably ... I followed practically every game , I did not fail my affection for baseball and I'll not have any twins baseball withdrawals because the seasonis over , 2021 , 2022 , part of 2024 and last but not least 2025 have been some of the worst baseball the twins have ever played all because the FO and Rocco thought we were a homerun hitting team because of a juiced ball 2019 season , they are slow learners at every aspect of the game ...

The only choice in my opinion would be Byron would waive his no trade clause to go to Atlanta Braves and play for his home state , it would be the dream he envisioned as a youngster boy , just like envisioned me playing for the Twins ... If he was to be traded to an organization other than Atlanta Byron may ask the other team to write a new contract for him to waive the no trade clause ( that would be the smart play ) bargaining chip ... Yes the suitors would be enormous but again I think his first choice is to play for the Braves ...

A start like Abel had is impressive , pitching was our strength until the deadline this year , then there was no bullpen ... Starting pitching looks to be a strength in 2026 if nobody is traded, Abel and Bradley Ober and a few others ( cant write lopez or ryan in because my gut just doesn't feel right ) , I'm sure Mr PBO is already on the phones with all clubs that Lopez and Ryan are available for the right price , let's hope not ... It's always nice to get a win against a good playoff team , SWR takes the mound for the last game of the season , let's hope he's good for 6 or 7 good innings for our last hurrah for 2025 ... Let's also hope that baldelli's rumor of his contract was picked up are false and we get a different voice , hes just worn out his welcome along with falvey too ... Also in 2026 I hope we get some clutch hitters that can drive in runs consistently and I hope the solo homeruns turn into something more than 1 run ... A combination of good pitching and runs scored will win games ...
