Wait till the twins bat , you'll get your outs !!!
-
I'm switching over to miami's broadcasting , molitor isn't talking enough to shut up the other two in the booth ...
-
Correction , Lee doesn't have the speed to bat 2nd .....
-
Tomorrow's game is a bullpen game according to molitor , they are holding back Prielipp ... I think tonight is going to be a bullpen game too ...
-
Next at bat , no pressure with runners on and a base hit for L K , the clutch hits are few and far between with this team , been saying for years that this team has no killer instinct since falvey and Rocco took over , 2019 doesn't count , steroids juiced ball
-
Yah , it's seems like a waste , buxton seems to thrive leading off a game but it's not helping him towards an incentive on his contract for being in the top ten in MVP voting , last year he was 11th in voting so missed out on extra money ...
-
Salted caramel ... It's good but SWR walking that first batter sucked ... If the twins win maybe I can have a second bowl to celebrate , not looking good so far , pitching and defense ...
-
I'm going to have my ice cream now and enjoy it ... I may not enjoy it after the game tonight , but if they win I just might have another bowl ...
-
Been waiting all season , would like to see him have a good game and tonight's the night for it ... Nobody wants the break the winning streak ...
-
Tampa Bay has needed a mainstay catcher for quite sometime , Tampa will draft Georgia tech catcher Vahn Lackey ... You heard it here first sports fans ... Who the Twins will draft is anyone's guess , do they go with the best available talent at #3 or work out a deal with someone that is ranked around the top 10 for lesser money to be taken #3 ...
-
Ober treated us to a nice pitching performance , congratulations on the complete 9 inning 2 hit shutout ... It's a rarity in the game today for a pitcher to get a complete game , he only needs 59 more shutouts to match Blyleven ... Hope we see more pitching gems like this ... Shelton seems to have the right formula in using the right players lately , we now have a 3 game winning streak ... Bell and caratini started out good but are regressing, they need to step it up a notch , we need consistency not streakyness ... Lets make it 4 tomorrow ...

Twins (Ober) vs Marlins (Perez): 5/12/26, 6:40 pm CDT

Shelton is starting to use the right players , the formula is working , 3 game winning streak ... Peter has tto be proud -
If we brought him now and he stayed on the team all year , he would then move into the super two class of arbitration , that's four arbitration years instead of three ... You think the organization wants 4 arbitration years , NO It's all about days accumulated mlb time for super two , maybe June or July call up would keep him from super two ... That's the best i can explain it as I'm having lunch ... Savvy ...
-
Give him alittle more development time and hope he heats up ... His defense would be a plus right now but the bat needs to tick up a notch or 2 ... He has showed good promise so far but has he earned a promotion after 34 games in AAA , and the twins are control freaks at manipulating service time ...

Week in Review: Buxton vs. The World
Blyleven2011 replied to Nick Nelson's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Twins played 500 ball for the week , best game of the week was by far buxton on Saturday night , homerun in first inning , double in the eleventh to score the Manfred man wallner ... If it wasn't for buxtons offensive heroics and the very capable bullpen ( just kidding ) , we would have been shutout and no hit through 9 innings ... It's a tie for game ball in Saturdays win , buxton and the bullpen , Ryan too ...- 19 replies

Probably Martin , 3 seasons , 2024 thru 2026 , I think he batted 250 plus in 2024 , last year he batted in the 280's and now currently is batting around 330 for 2026 ... Austin Martin is my answer ...

Good game today , bats showed some life a score just enough to win the series ... The pitching was good , alittle shakey but the bullpen won for the second day in arow , TRUELY AMAZING ... Gold gloves have been handed out to 2 different twins 1st basemen players , Santana in 2024 and France in 2025 , if Clemens qualifies at the end of the season are the twins going to get lucky and get another gold glove from a 1st baseman ... I have no qualms about Clemens and his defense , he fields 1st base very well ... His offense needs to get better , if he can hit 20 homers and 70 rbi's and bat around 230 for the season , I guess we'll settle for that ... Everyone wants defense , Clemens is the best 1st baseman we have ...

The bullpen wins 2 in arow ... Miracle , it's a miracle or as Peter would say , the twins are better than we think ...
-
You must be pretty skinny , all the puking you do ...
-
We need to keep the bat going and score some more runs ... No lead is safe ...
-
Can't field either
-
Hope the bats come alive today and we get good pitching , remember our starting pitching is our strength ...
-
I hope they are not all solo homeruns ... Speaking of homers , Bell , Larnach and Wallner are not hitting their share to help the offense ...
-
I can't believe fangraph didn't add buxton to the list , shows how flawed it is ... Close game , both starters pitched a good game , 2 hits apiece for both teams , pitchers duel with great defense ... I can't believe the bullpen got us a win .... 17 strikeouts was just to many for the twins ... They say one man can't carry a team , Buxton is the one man to carry the team to a 2-1 victory ... Nice going twins , extra inning victory , who would of seen this coming ...
