Hit the ball to the opposite field , no way our twins can pull that off on a regular basis , Hernandez has hit the ball almost exclusively to right field , even for power ...

Let's hope the Phillies can win today and force a game 5 in Philadelphia ... Put the pressure on the dodgers ..

Think about this ... Twins are getting a new manager and coaches , new ideas and inspiration ... Under Rocco they looked dead in the water , played possum dead at home and got killed on the road , the players never truly came to play for Rocco and Falvey's plan , look at all the veteran players they signed and kept playing them regardless of their lack of production ( does Margot and gallo come to mind ) , who would give full effort playing for an organization that couldn't see the light and continue to take a roster spot from someone better ... Im in a positive mood that a new manager and coaches , the players will play harder and some might even have career years , ( one thing standing in the way though and that is falvey stays out of it because the players all knew Rocco was just a peon , in my opinion the players lacked any inspiration from Rocco because he wasnt the leader , falvey was ) ... I like larnach and I say tender him and build up his trade value and trade him at the deadline if others are ready to step into his shoes , I know there are probably some that can step into those shoes now but the point is he is a major league player and should prosper more under a new direction ... Enthusiasm will be up next season and the core will play better ... Remember sports fan , you heard it here first ... Im not always right but I'm never wrong ...

It be wise for our next manager to have some experience , I'm thinking of Mike Redmond , a former catcher for the Twinsand good club house guy , a former manager that managed the Marlins but was let go with a new front office taking over , he also was bench coach with the rockies , he's been in coaching positions since his retirement as a player .... Mike Redmond has the qualifications for the job as does tingler but I want nobody from the twins coaching staff to fill this position ... The Detroit and Cleveland coaches sounds very capable too but most likely will be purged by another team ...

Well its looking like no one is getting eliminated today .... I to am rooting for the Phillies but at the expense of Kershaw who's had a hall fame career , kind of sad if this is his last game .... Wonder if Robert's will send him out for another inning ...

I'm just into baseball and some hockey ... I gave up on football when they gave Peterson a year suspension for disciplining his child , and Ray Lewis was in the wrong the wrong place atcthe wrong time to a murder , so he was charged with accessory but was given immunity because he turned states evidence to convict the trigger man , NFL did not suspend him for any games for being in a situation such as that , so by suspending Peterson for a year , the NFL told me that child abuse was worse than murder ...

Okay ill tell you this .... I live for opening day , everything in between and for great baseball in the playoffs and world series ... Not disappointed so far this post season , the games have been good , runs and defense and some very good pitching from some young inexperienced pitchers ....

Nice to send the Yankees packing though , a sweep would have been nice but might have cost boone his job , still might ...

Justctuning into Phillies and Dodgers game , Kepler batting , he sure looks different in that Phillies uniform , helmet almost looks to big ... Good to see the Phillies making a stab at staying in the hunt ...

He's had 2 good starts now in the playoffs , lots of young pitchers pitching important games , that Melton kid with Detroit , Misiorowski with the brewers , all are young and with little major league experience and doing very well ... Yesavage with Toronto too ...

There's been some bad managers yes , but Rocco being the twins manager just kept frustrating the diehard fans when he wouldn't deviate from the daily plan , it's just so hard to get used to this kind of baseball that just doesn't seem to work with this organization .... Pinch hitting Margot everytime he needed a right handed hitter is proof he and Falvey's plan wasn't working , platooning hitters in the past , he gave lefthanders alittle more leeway this season , but not against real good lefthanders ... Not stealing bases because Rocco said we weren't a team with speed , and the runners started to prove him wrong after the deadline stealing bases and making the games more exciting ... That beautiful bunt that Clemens did to score the runner from third was Clemens idea , he confessed he did not call it , ut was a perfectly placed bunt ... Bunting alitte bit more after the deadline when we had a speedy player on third and less than 2 outs .... What took so long to finally change thing up just a bit to make the game more interesting , even if we lose , it was more of an effort from the players to try and win ....

Hitting is contagious .... Detroit is capitalizing ...

No this story is trying to brace you for the most losses in the history of MLB baseball ... At the deadline we fans expected the team to trade the expiring contracts of coloumbe , Castro , Bader , France and paddack .... I also expected the twins to trade a couple of relievers , one of either Duran or Jax , Stewart was also an option to be traded .... But NOoooo , they tore our hearts out and traded the quality bullpen ... Now , this off season i can see the twins ( even though falvey has said he would like to keep them ) , trade Lopez , Ryan ( most likely request or demand a trade ) and if he is traded so is Lopez because we don't needed him on a rebuild ... If these 2 players get traded , I wouldn't blame Buxton one bit for opting out of his no trade clause to play for Atlanta Braves ... Now with these 3 players gone , Jeffers has value with a higher price tag in arbitration the twins probably would want to shed and I can see them signing Vazquez for his defense and smarts for 3 to 5 million in salary , if that doesn't happen we have pereda and Cardenas as our 2 catchers ... Now where they go , I have no possible idea , I do know that the teams Nelson suggested in these trades might not have the best talent in their system to get the right return ( but falvey may think so because he's great at dumpster diving ) ... If these pitchers and players are traded , please get some better quality prospects and major league ready players in return .... I don't have much faith in this being accomplished as they still haven't a plan in order as stated by falvey ... who cares what the payroll is , just get some talented players that will play some better exciting baseball than what we have witnessed the last 5 years excluding 2023 as they made a playoff appearance and won a few games ... Even the players the team sent to the AFL is kind of a joke , they practically sent players that are not even close to major league ready , I always thought the AFL was the last step before making the major league roster , not with this organization ....

Still alot of game left but 8 unanswered runs , defense hasn't been kind to Toronto tonight , Santander just reminded me of wallner ... Santander better redeem himself in his next at bat ..
