  1. I was wrong...I didn't think he'd bow out. Crazy run he had there. Uniquely successful.
  2. I think you pretty much have to keep him and, worst case, get a comp pick for him when you let him walk. That changes if someone gives you a 2nd or a 3rd. (Which I don't see happening)
  3. Still though....you're in a great football town, have good owners, and a fantastic culture. They have got to get someone in the room that can get them a new QB though. Not hand-me-downs.....a real QB.
  4. It's probably broken beyond repair. Certainly never going back to the days of "student athletes".
  5. And even in the NFL we get the NFC South happening on a semi-regular basis...that's with a great cap system and the best parity in major sports! Baseball's hot mess? Woof.
  6. Do I love the move? No. Are there many better options on which to spend our money? Also no. Signing him and trading Larnach for a bullpen piece is a move I would feel whelmed by.
  7. 100%. I would really hope if this happened that they'd cut down to two divisions in each league with 8 teams. Then your move even makes more sense when we join the Cubs/White Sox/Brews/Guardians/Cards/Reds/Tigers. I think it aligns well with the playoff format where the top two teams are the byes so you could allow each division winner to claim those spots with 4 wild cards from either division.
  8. Agreed, wasn't a major defense...but the Charger offensive line health has basically ended any real chance they had. They simply can't block anyone. The Pats are in for a rude awakening against Houston much less Buffalo.
  9. In some fairness, they're on their like 9th and 119th offensive linemen out there.
  10. Another great game. Allen finally has a path forward for a Super Bowl. I'm rooting for him.
  11. NFL couldn't have asked for a better Saturday.
  12. Sorry to hear that Mike. Did my own sabbatical so I hear ya.
  13. Better link on Corleone
  14. I guess I should've shared my favorite: "Godfather" Dontay Corleone. You either double him or you don't get to run.
  15. There are a lot of nose tackles I love in this draft. Last year I loved the RB class and I was pissed we didn't take one. If we don't take a NT this year...I'm going to be ready to fly back to MN to call for KAM's firing.
  16. Only real question is if he played so well it spurs a bidding war.
  17. Mendoza cemented tonight. Moore might have played himself into returning.
  18. Placekicker. I still get to be the hero sometimes, millions of dollars, and a functioning brain.
  19. My god this team's depth is a mess. Flopping on 90% of your picks is coming home to roost.
  20. Yeah, I won't get into what he deserves to not set off some prominent sensibilities around here...but the Wilfs don't much love failure.
  21. LB is a huge need. We're lucky this is a deep class.
