    We need hitting, Pitching is fine right now. We need to find someone that can hit.

    When your starter is pulled after 5 innings that is when you use your long man out of the pen. I 100% blame the loss on Rocco for the pitcher usage tonight. I assume a reliver is moved today to bring in a fresh arm. I was irritated the whole game i don't know why.

    He has had 33 AB this year. Half of them were with the back issue. He will be fine and worrying so early is not needed. Now we should do something about the Homeplate and catcher positioning. They protected the catchers but now the players coming home have no idea what todo when the catcher is receiving the ball, as they are always in the base path. This is causing injuries' like Correa and Cruz from the pirates.

    Correa better be ready. We don't have a backup at SS now except for Castro and Gordon. Both are subpar but can hold it for a off day.

    1B is the least worry some position. Easy to fill with almost anyone. If you came with 0 prospects I would still have said the same thing. Plus we have Alex Kirilloff, so we are fine, as he will be there as a all star for the next 10 years.

    Buxton will be the primary DH at the start of the season. He is not ready for everyday CF duties and will be eased in over the course of the year. This is what the Athletic article said today.

    Tyler Jay draft pick. He was so good in college as a closer. He never was a starter. Twins draft him and say we are going to make him a starter. One of the dumbest moves by management for the Twins. Tyler could have been up as bullpen help that year or the following year. I was so irritated with this move. Twins killed the career for Tyler Jay. I have no idea why this always bothered me.

    There is still 3 weeks left of spring training. I am not worried. AK is just getting used to it. They did cut some of his bone off. Your body and mind is getting used to it not being there. AK will get a good 2 weeks in this spring and ready to roll. If not he will start on the IL and Solono will start there for us until AK is ready.

    Our infield for 2024 will be this: Lewis-3B, Correa-SS, Lee-2nd, Kirilliof-1B and Miranda DH/1B/3B Polonco will probably be traded in the 23 offseason. Martin will likely be traded at this years deadline for bullpen arms. Julien will just be a bat first player and likely traded in the next year or two. We will need starters next year and couple trades will be needed. Unless we can extend Gray, Mahle & Meade. I can see the twins extending 2 of these guys. Maybe only one just depends on how they pitch this year.

    Our pitching staff is deep and I feel our rotation is probably the best we have had in a very long time. We are going to have a great year if they stay healthy. I still think our bullpen is terrible and will be our downfall, but that is me.

    I honestly hope he figures it out as he is the most redundant player right now. We don't need another Nick Gordon. I hope he hits, so we can trade him for a bullpen arm at the deadline. I know I sound harsh on this.

    LEE & Julien will not be with the twins this year at all, unless there are a ton of injuries. Both of there defenses are not good or really have a spot to play. They need a full year in AA/AAA. Martin and will be traded by the deadline. I could see Julien traded as well.

    I know i am a minority on this forum but i think our rotation is really good. Even the 7/8/9 SP we have are good. I want them to trade for and sign every single power arm there is out there for the bullpen. The Bullpen is the weakest part of the team. But we also need Rocco learn what a Long man is in the bullpen. So they can pitch 2-3 innings after he pulls the SP after 4-5 innings. Look at Houston this year and how they used the pitchers.

    Chris is broken, we don't need that man child on our roster. This would completely destroy any morale we have left for the team. He is a black hole.

    We don't need a SS, just go with Farmer until Lewis is ready. Try and get Rodon but the only way we get him is if we stupidly overpay and give him the terrible 7 years he wants. He does not want to pitch for us, he wants to pitch for a contender. He is also no worth the 30mil a year.

    With the cost of this signing you can pretty much say the Twins are not going to sign CC. Unless they cough up a 8yr/300mil contract. We all know they will not do that. I say sign Inglesis and find 3 shutdown bullpen arms. You could make a run at Rodon now, but he is going to be 30mil a year.

    Well it has to work. There is virtually no one we can sign that are any better except for 2. Verlander and always injured Degrom. Rodon is not the answer. We have a good rotation with some good backups if injury happens. I want the Twins to sign/trade for some high profile shutdown bullpen arms. Literally everyone could be replaced.

    Lewis will be a All-star SS for us. I am a million percent in on Lewis as the face of the team in two years. All of his injuries have been fluky and it sucks. He is so good.

    Every pitcher is flakey and unpredictable. You question is the same for any player in 2023. Everyone has a bad year. Edwin is literally the best option for us in the pitchers market right now. Having Lopez and Diaz at the back end would be pretty awesome.

    How about we stop making starting pitching articles and completely over haul our bullpen. Our starters are a good group if they can stay healthy. But the bullpen is not so much. Lets make a big splash and drop a 3yr/54mil signing for Edwin Diaz for one of the best closers in baseball.

    How about this, We don't sign any of these guys. We drop 51mil/3yrs on Edwin Diaz to closeout games. Literally one of the best, if not the best, closer in baseball.

    All of them are not any better than Sonny. If you feel we need one for depth do so otherwise our starters are a very solid bunch, despite what this forums says.

    Nick Gordon will start the year as the SS until Lewis is ready. I said this last year as well. So lets hope it does the same and we get Correa again!

    I am cheering for the Mariners in the AL and Mets in the NL. But I honestly don't care who goes to the world series as long as the Yankees and the Dodgers don't make it.
