    Just the fact they kept Larnach on the roster is the biggest loss. We should have Emmanuel starting in LF to get accustomed to MLB life. So he could have a AAA reset, if needed, as this is his last option year. It is a down year, there was no reason to keep Larnach.

    I would like them to just part ways with both Larnach and Wallner. There are some better hitters and fielders hitting FA this year that we should go after. If they refuse to spend money just bring up the young guys and let them play every single day.

    Oh i understand that, but more so on this economy. What is the first thing most people cut when they have less money than normal. Entertainment and sporting events. Average family goes to say 5-10 events a year? With the economy now, they can to maybe go to 1-2 a year. That is all I am trying to get to. This is not you or Phil down the street with season tickets. This is a family of 5 with dad/mom working everyday to provide to feed and house a family.

    Honestly, no one can afford to go to the game. We cant anymore, sports and entertainment was the first thing cut with everything else getting so expensive. 20$ for parking, family of 5 for mid range tickets are 200$. Food for the kids and family another 150$. Why would I do that when we can go to a park or other things that are way cheaper. My kids will probably enjoy the cheaper option more than the game anyway.

    I just don't want to lose Miranda because we kept France. If France falls on his face two months later we have someone that can play. I just rather have Miranda take 1B over and run with it. Hopefully he can at lease be middle of the road or better at the position.

    They like infielders so maybe a straight up Castro for Mountcastle trade will work. We need to move the dollars for the player. I like the Paddock trade idea mentioned.

    I know Twinsdaily readers hate Jeffers but he is part of the core of this team. This trade would leave a big giant hole at catcher for this year and after 2025 when Vazquez leaves. Jeffers will not get traded unless we some how find another catcher. I want the Twins to extend him for 4-5 years. You will not find a better catcher in the FA world for the cost.

    5yr 40mil would be nice. Maybe make it back loaded like this. 4/4/12/10/10. That will free up some money for the next two years. We honestly wont find a better catcher in the FA world. Jeffers is a good catcher I don't understand the hate on him.

    Jair Caramgo i still in our system. was he not a ok hitter and ok backstop? Just needs reps and time. I will trave Vazquez and roll with Caramgo and Jeffers. Jeffers is going to catch 110 games anyway. If we did get a catcher injury we could be in a world of hurt but we can always just sign a veteran catcher and stash them in AAA. Trading Jeffers is the wrong idea.

    Tender him and keep him on the roster. He can be really good if he can stay healthy. Give him one last chance. If it was me, Miranda would be the starting 1B/DH going forward and tell him to train every single day to get better at it. If AK can stick around and stay healthy, great he can rotate with Miranda.

    Miranda should be at 1B/DH going forward. They could move Lewis to 1B and it could help him stay healthy. But rotating him in at 2nd and 3rd will be needed. Lee can play 3B and Julian can play 2B. That is 5 infielders they can rotate around to give rest days as needed. Who ever is not in the field is the DH.

    Well, the Twins need to do something to get a fire lit for this team. Fire the hitting coach and his awful philosophy. The Santana signing was a terrible signing and made me old man groan when it was announced. I would of rolled with Miranda and AK and picked up more pitching but what do i know.

    Play Martian in RF everyday and see what he can do.

    Lee needs time at AAA. I don't expect him to be with the team until the 2nd half of the year. Unless some injuries happen he will stay at AAA. There is honestly not a roster spot for him currently. Unless we move Farmer or Castro.

    Royce will be the face of the team and multiple time all-star. I cant wait to see what he can do with a full season.

    Stanton will be injuried most of the year so one of the 4 OF will be DH. They could use one of the young Middle IF's at DH as well. They wont trade one of the 4 OF's until Jasson Domingez is ready to come back. That is mid year at the earliest. But more than likely September. Verdugo is the rental, he is holding Jasson's spot till he is back.

    I must be a minority here but I love Gladden on the radio. The wife and I enjoy his commentary on the way up to the lake during the summer. I assume Corey goes to TV now. We miss Marney and would be pretty awesome to have her as the play by play on TV.

    I wonder if we can get Gray for 3yr/66mil deal. He is worth more, but who knows. It would be great to get him back but understand whey we don't.

    His shoulder was progressively getting worse. He was never at 100% all year. Just good enough to play and last night he hurt it in a AB and that is why solano came in for him.

    I would love to see Farmer in the starting lineup somewhere. Maybe have lewis DH and have Farmer in at 3rd. Wallner/Kirilloff disappearing bats this whole playoff is really hurting. Just frustrating.

    If you want to win he needs to have the AB's. Polanco did something to himself on Friday. After the strikeout he dropped to one knee and took him over a minute to get up and go to the dugout. They pulled him and he didn't play the rest of the weekend. Hopefully it is nothing but that might answer your Julian question. But i can see the Julian 2B Polanco at 3B.

    Been screaming for a bullpen overhaul for two years now. Twins just don't believe in good relivers. Only person that is a must keep is Duran and maybe Jax. Everyone else can be upgraded. But this team does not manage bullpens at all. Last night was the perfect time to bring in Sands for 2+ innings when they pulled Ober. But they also pulled Ober too early and should have let him go another inning or two. But what ever. SP should be going 100 pitches if they are holding there own this time of the year. Just have a reliver ready at the 85 pitch count, incase they give up a string of hits/walks.

    Why, Goldy is old declining and done in two years. AK will be a all-star for the Twins for a few years. AK is way to good to trade away. Big big mistake if they even think about it.

    The Twins simply hit better without Buxton in the line up. Twins just need to shut him down and tell him to get all the surgery taken care of and rehab and rest up. Next year it is all in the OF or bust.

    We need hitting, Pitching is fine. Someone with a pulse that can hit the ball. I agree with a other posters. Trade the expiring contracts and bring up the young guys.
