  1. Graham likely doesn't put him in a hitters count 2-0. Graham likely also doesn't give up a 2 run bomb an inning later to an average player at best. Bringing in Achter was dumb enough, but to leave him in the next inning? WTF man? It's September, you don't need to "save" the pen.
  2. Jacob Rasch ‏@serious_jammage Dick Bremer just intimated that Erick Aybar was serving as a translator in a mound conference with Hector Santiago, who is from Newark.
  3. Honest question: How did Dick Bremer get this job? He is terrible and seemingly has an IQ hovering 100. I get how Bert did, but Bremer, what blackmail does he have on the Pohlad family?
  4. In the 2nd inning where you need a guy to go multiple innings anyways, Graham is a vastly superior option then Achter.
  5. I for one can't wait for the inevitable Santana PH op.
  6. Graham has at least shown flashes for this team. Cotts and Achter have shown two things on the Twins: Jack and ****, and Jack just left town.
  7. It's still embarrassing. They were going up against a terrible SP from the start, likely a 2:1 favorite against a last place team with a lame duck manager and no GM.
  8. Why. Just. Why. Do you bring in Cotts when the first guy up is a righty? Just. Why?
  9. No.... Graham >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Achter, Cotts, etc
  10. I'm kinda curious why Graham couldn't have been left in. Just another classic case of Molitor out smarting himself it appears.
  11. Cotts: another one of the Terry Ryan classic pick ups. F I R E R Y A N
  12. Kinsler (much older) has appared in the same number of games. Forsythe as well. Cano one less (had an injury earlier this year and missed a couple games) Peterson and Altuve both within 3 as well. Still seems like a baseless excuse to be honest
  13. I remember that Kubel Grand Slam. That was awesome.
  14. This whole "dozier needs more rest" thing needs to stop as well. He is 28, in the prime of his career. Thousands of players have played 155 games or more in a season. Fatigue is just an excuse while ignoring the real issue (he needs to learn how to be more than a dead pull hitter, he doesn't have the elite power to pull it off)
  15. We desperately need a catcher who can at least throw out a guy once in a while. If so that balk doesn't happen.
  16. Did you see the hit? Should have been an infield pop up.
  17. Why. Was. Graham. Not. Brought. In. Earlier. Molitor.
  18. Dozier hasn't had a good at bat in 2 months it seems
  19. haven't tried it at target field. But I know most stadiums they are insanely aggressive against it.
  20. I went to a Yankee game (on a Saturday) with my brother and sister in town three weeks ago. We got our tickets for $6 total (3 tickets) including fees, and we were actually in the 3rd row, (400 level) but along the third base line. Fans aren't priced out due to ticket prices, it's all the other bullcrap that the stadiums charge once you get inside.
