    Gibson seems to melt down in high leverage situations, also he doesn't strike anybody out or throw particularly hard, I don't see how he is a fit in in the bullpen. Unless he can become a 7th or 8th inning guy, it's probably just worth trying to trade him, or stash him in AAA for when they inevitably need him.

    Yup, it would be a very smart move IMO. Also it isn't enough money where if things did go pear shaped they couldn't find a way to move on. If the Twins had 5 Santiagos right now in the rotation I think they could compete for a wild card spot no doubt.

    He's gonna have to improve all aspects of his game to be a contributor for an NL or any team. He had one of the 3 lowest WARs in baseball over the last 2 years.

    What plan was that thoigh? If they didn't expect to compete: why have a bunch of AAAA retreads up and down the roster? Why not give those spots to guys who could potentially help in the future.

    I was super high on Holland, I wish the Twins would have gotten him, would have made way too much sense and at worst he would have netted you something at the deadline. At least I got him for $2 in my dynasty fantasy league

    I turned over to NASCAR, there was a 19 car wreck. Apparently I missed an even larger wreck this 9th inning.

    This terrible bullpen is on the FO No excuse why they couldn't have improved it AT ALL this off season.

    Presley, Beslie should both definitely be cut. The rest (sans Duffey) should be on notice.

    Seriously, stick a fork in all of them! Big fail by the new "regime" in not improving this pen at all. Other than Duffey and Kintzler, I'm not sure they have a single guy who deserves to be on the major league ball club at this point? Call up all of the prospects and let's see who sticks?

    Meh the Twins got 6 runs in a game started by Sale. The offense isn't the reason why they are losing. It's Santana coming down to earth a bit and this ****ty poor excuse for a pen!

    Could have used a guy like Hicks to PH that inning. Oh well! At least our AAA backup catching depth is solid!

    This team needs to figure out how to hit LHP (especially the OF) If only there was an OF who was a switch hitter and had a 1.100 ops while playing gold glove defense....I wish we could draft a guy like that someday.

    Why exactly is gibson a good trade chip? A guy with a 6.00 ERA the last 2 years, who is about to get expensive, zero trade value IMO
