  1. Good news: The Diamondbacks cut the Astros lead to 7-2. Bad news, the Astros have scored 14 straight since then. 21-2, maybe they have used up all of their runs this series?
  2. http://i.imgur.com/mCqdiqF.jpg But in seriousness, yeah his pitching down the stretch definitely cost this team at minimum a game or two, but I can't fault him for it. He was INJURED, even when he came back he clearly wasn't at 100% and shouldn't be the guy brought in for the most important at bats of the game. However, since the rest of the bullpen has been...um...well....medicore, he was forced to pitch in those games less thant 100%, while I think Molly should have went with Cotts or May instead of Perkins tonight, again its hard to fault him too much for that. The blame honestly hast to begin and end with Ryan who saw this pen was an issue all season long, and frankly IMO did too little too late to fix it. Jepsen was awesome, but they needed more!
  3. Until Molitor manages to win a division 5 times in 8 years he won't be as "good" as the guy who came bfore him. Hell, if he manages to win a division once in the next two years I will conceed he is "good" but until that comes? He has a lot to prove, and frankly, he didn't look the part this year. I give him a C at best. If he would learn how to manage a pen and stop with his obessesion of bunting, I would think about giving him a B.
  4. If Jepsen pulled his groin, there is no way the Twins next two games are 50/50
  5. Early 2015 form is damn near impossible, he was beyond lights out. I hope when he is healthy he can get back close to "normal" though. I have faith, he has pitched poorly as of late but I am confident its 100% due to injury.
  6. 3 outs left in the season. Plouffe (who will be PR for ASAP) Rosario Hunter (who will be PR for) then Santana PH for suzuki
  7. My dog could have managed Sano to "hit it a long ways" When it came to the bullpen? Might as well have just drawn a name out of the hat all season (not all molitors fault, mostly Ryan's, but still his bullpen choices left a lot to be desired)
  8. Yeah, true. Add that to the list of "puzzling" bullpen choices all year.
  9. Yeah, I still would have went Cotts OR May over Perkins in that spot. He is clearly, clearly, not himself.
  10. He is under team control for 2016, so there is pretty much 100% chance he is back next year.
  11. Good point, why not put in Cotts there? Perkins has been...um...unreliable at best the past few months.
  12. The only question that remains now is: Who will Moltior PH Danny Santana for in the 9th
  13. 100% The Twins have gotten muredered in the SB catergory this year, can't throw anyone out, can't steal a base.
  14. May is the Twins "set up" guy at this point, if you aren't going to goto him in a tie game in the 8th in a MUST win game, when do you goto him?
  15. I miss the old "clutch" Dozier he was much more fun to watch then "hit below the mendoza line from August on Dozeir"
  16. Perkins isn't good against lefties though! He actually is better against righties, this isn't rocket science!
  17. Ryan was the reason why that team lost 90 or more games in 4 straight seasons... One playoff series win in 17 years. One.
  18. What critics? Finishing 7th out of 15 teams in the AL is not some great achievement FYI.
  19. Well that was a waste of 5 months. Ryan, time to step down. At least they got the inevitable Minnesota let down out of the way early in the weekend. Go Vikings. Go Wild. Fire Ryan. Get well soon Flip!
  20. Butera with his best Darcy Keumper impression there.
  21. Haha. I mean it happens all the time, the Rangers don't "owe" anyone anything but themselves, its not their fault teams need them to win.
  22. LIke 95% of those seats are bought by companies our given to big advertisers. They may not be at the game at all, or may be smoozing in one of the many bars target field has.
