  1. My dog could have managed Sano to "hit it a long ways" When it came to the bullpen? Might as well have just drawn a name out of the hat all season (not all molitors fault, mostly Ryan's, but still his bullpen choices left a lot to be desired)
  2. Yeah, true. Add that to the list of "puzzling" bullpen choices all year.
  3. Yeah, I still would have went Cotts OR May over Perkins in that spot. He is clearly, clearly, not himself.
  4. He is under team control for 2016, so there is pretty much 100% chance he is back next year.
  5. Good point, why not put in Cotts there? Perkins has been...um...unreliable at best the past few months.
  6. The only question that remains now is: Who will Moltior PH Danny Santana for in the 9th
  7. 100% The Twins have gotten muredered in the SB catergory this year, can't throw anyone out, can't steal a base.
  8. May is the Twins "set up" guy at this point, if you aren't going to goto him in a tie game in the 8th in a MUST win game, when do you goto him?
  9. I miss the old "clutch" Dozier he was much more fun to watch then "hit below the mendoza line from August on Dozeir"
  10. Perkins isn't good against lefties though! He actually is better against righties, this isn't rocket science!
  11. Ryan was the reason why that team lost 90 or more games in 4 straight seasons... One playoff series win in 17 years. One.
  12. What critics? Finishing 7th out of 15 teams in the AL is not some great achievement FYI.
  13. Well that was a waste of 5 months. Ryan, time to step down. At least they got the inevitable Minnesota let down out of the way early in the weekend. Go Vikings. Go Wild. Fire Ryan. Get well soon Flip!
  14. Butera with his best Darcy Keumper impression there.
  15. Haha. I mean it happens all the time, the Rangers don't "owe" anyone anything but themselves, its not their fault teams need them to win.
  16. LIke 95% of those seats are bought by companies our given to big advertisers. They may not be at the game at all, or may be smoozing in one of the many bars target field has.
  17. Zobrist definitely had a beef, that thing was 6 inches outside.
  18. Solid beer. I'm going with good old Brooklyn Pennant Ale (Seems like the right fit currently)
  19. The commish? No, if they want to rest a few guys it's 100% their right.
  20. Home Run Derby contest between Trout, Sano and Correa.
  21. It could be just me, but the Twins seem to have been hitting very well lately off "hard throwers with good stuff" and hitting a bit worse against "pitch to contact types" Kluber, Sale and Carrasco are the examples that immediately come to mind. If this is a trend, it couldn't happen at a better time (especially if the Twins happen to make the playoffs) Mauer looked great in game one, hopefully he has like two more games like that in him the rest of this regular season.
  22. The Twins are literally in the middle(end) of the playoff hunt. They would be beyond foolish to try to pull any such crap. The only scenario I would be ok with: Twins up by 7 runs or more, bottom of ninth, Ramirez at that plate, Nolasco or someone else on the mound who wont be on the playoff roster. Then by all means, throw at him. If that isn't the scenario? Let it go, or wait until 2016 for your stupid and silly payback.
