  1. Early season, I would rank them Ryan, Lopez, Ober. A little later it would be Ryan, Ober, Lopez. As of now Ober,Lopez,Ryan. Not because Ryan has pitched worse but because Ober and Lopez have stepped up their games. It would not surprise me to see Ryan string together great starts in Aug and Sept. If that happens, their is definitely a case to be made for Ryan being the most consistent SP thru out the 30+ starts that each of them will have made. If Ryan is solid into October, I would have a hard time not saying that he had the best 2024 season based on Lopez having multiple stinkers and Ober with his KC low lights.
  2. This is quite the development train rolling thru out the organization! If Soto keeps up his development, we will see him in Wichita next year (at 19 yo!!) He is such a great guy as well. It’s fun to dream about how good these young kids will be.
  3. The Tim Anderson debacle and other clubhouse issues destroyed them quickly. They also have a highly rated SS prospect having a below average year in AAA…. He was supposedly better than Brooks Lee. The Twins are doing many things right thru out the organization! The Sox…. Not so much. edit. Colson Montgomery has stuck out 16 times in his last 50 PA with a .630 ops in Charlotte.
  4. Fast forward 2 years, our farm system is probably top 8-10 in baseball. Late rounders being developed in MLB’rs and early round picks moving thru the farm fast. We have mostly a home grown team in yr 8 of Falvey and by year 10, that will increase.
  5. Ryan just has to be more consistent. Carry 5-8 consecutive games into the 7th inning and we can talk about 3 Aces. Also, as SWR develops, he has that kind of potential.
  6. We are in a great position because#1 Ober is becoming an Ace. We are literally watching him develop into one at the right time. #2 Lopez is getting hot at the right time and has the previous experience of handling the Ace pressure. #3 Ryan is tagging along and may have Paddock/Festa/SWR/Varland in the pen to tag team a shut down game with in October! This late season comeback/ playoff run is going to be exciting!!!
  7. Ober has been incredible since the KC debacles. This is gonna be a great show to watch Aug/Sept/Oct! Has anyone looked at Cleveland’s remaining schedule? It. is Brutal. C4 will be back soon and Farmer should be sent to the 60day Il. lets string together another dozen wins or so!!!
  8. Its time to be serious about winning every game. Lets go on a season long winning streak and win the central div!!
  9. Someone ☝above hit dislike😳 One in every crowd 👎🏻
  10. Too bad his 25 HR’s this season weren’t all in MLB. Once he gets there. He will be the real deal.
  11. We really have a great pitching staff. Sands has been lights out which I wouldn’t have ever thought possible. Ober was definitely King of the hill last month.
  12. No one has an easy schedule. Gardians, Rsox, Astros, KC, Rays, Mariners all have warts. We will be right in the middle of the puddle.
  13. I definitely agree but we need 1 guy that catches lightning in a bottle to help in October. It doesn't matter who it is or how he got to the show. We just need 1 more guy.
  14. 18 mlb teams have between 50-59 wins. Twins have 58. Six teams have 60 or more wins. We are above average in every thing except health. When we get C4 back and our recently acquired slightly above average RP in uniform, we will be even better. Its time to make a run at another winning streak. Oh and we cant have the #2,3,4 batters in the lineup strike out 10 times in a game. That was just horrible tonight!
  15. You can’t win them all 🤷🏻‍♂️
  16. Does anyone know who has been inquiring about Duran and Kepler?
  17. Tbar needs to get the work in. He has been all over the place this season. Jax and Duran will be getting plenty of work in Aug/Sept.
  18. Way better odds than success with mid season/deadline trades. There is a time for different strategies and this season isn’t the time to sell prospects to just add a warm body with MLB experience. Buy the best and if its not available, figure out a different path. Sports Dynasties are built all the time thru the draft. There is definitely luck involved in those decisions.
  19. Yes. And as a paying fan, I understand that we can make a dynasty type run since our farm system is stacked. This isnt 2000-2018 anymore.
  20. We have a possibility of a very big wave of prospects in ‘25/26 so we really don’t need to go all in on a risky move in ‘24. Top 5 offense and enough pitching to get by. Unless we can get an elite pitcher, we are only switching names/ not upgrading any production.
  21. Dobber would be as good as any trade not named Scherzer. Just takes one 60 day IL stint by someone on the 40 and we could slide him right into MLB again.
