  1. You spelled SWR wrong. Macleod will likely get to AAA in ‘25 and not just for 1 fill in game like this season. Just 2 seasons pitching as a pro and he is killing it in Wichita.
  2. He’s coming!! Erod will debut in September with a DFA of Margot. We may not wn the WS this year but the seeds have been planted and the farm has been cultivated and its time for a fall harvest of more young talent! Get him the experience that he build upon!!
  3. Note to Joe Pohlad, please pay Falvine enough for them to stay around awhile. While you’re at it, give them a bigger budget for more top notch players. Thad be great 👍🏻
  4. Nah, just a rough patch. We will find some good luck 🍀 and will win the division by 2-3 games.
  5. Crazy to think that Rosario, Erod, Jenkins and Winoker are so young. They will make some noise next year in AA and AAA. Kiersey will likey get a prove it type invite/contract to someones MLB spring training in ‘25
  6. It would be difficult for Julien and Farmer to suck worse. Both may be elsewhere in ‘25
  7. We gotta stop giving games away. We need buck, C4 and Lee back in the lineup!!
  8. 1,2,3. Lets get some early runs!!!
  9. Matthews throws a quality start today. He will need some run support!!!
  10. Cleveland is having their luck run out. They will finish 3rd in the central.
  11. CP is gonna be climbing the org chart quickly since he is finally healthy! We need a LHP in MLB!! Is Erod on the shelf for the rest of ‘24? Jenkins is showing off his immense talent. these 3 guys should be in St. Paul by June 2025!
  12. He seems to be the next guy up behind a healthy Erod. Barring injuries this season, you wont see Kiersey Jr in MLB. ‘25 he will get his shot if he is healthy and productive.
  13. I agree that it isn't good to sign aging vets to long term deals. Seems like a no brainer. The FO obviously knew that the farm is full of guys about to arrive and they have. Two more waves of young guys behind them. Ryan will always be a potential ace. But will he ever be an actual one? I’d trust the 3 rookies in the playoffs. They need to walk thru that fire to take a step in their development.
  14. Jenkins is raw. He is 19 yo so thats a given. His early injury set him behind on development and that is affecting his production. Long term, he will be fine but look for him to be not much better than average until he gets more games/experience.
  15. Yes, we can certainly use him better than he has been used this season.
  16. Kepler is likely to leave in FAgency so when Erod showcases his skills in early ‘25, he will likely get the call to MLB before he is ever tabbed the best prospect in baseball. It really wont matter when he holds his own in MLB. He might even push buck over to LF.
  17. Jenkins has been injured most if this year so it makes sense that his development and production isnt off the charts.
  18. Every player gets injured on every team. No one plays thru it like Cal Ripken Jr. If these prognosticators are running the numbers and come up with erod, then other players are dealing with bigger career impediments then he is. Fantasy wise, he may be the best or “they” are bad at analytics. As a GM, you don’t just dream of having the best potential talent, you figure out a way to achieve it. Anyone that thinks top prospects are tradeable, needs to understand that it takes one hell of an offer to pry these types of prospects away from an organization. Then look at the business plan of Falvine and you will understand that top prospects stay and the 3rd tier are regularly traded regularly. 2nd tier(Chase Petty) if an immediate hole is filled (Sonny Gray).
  19. It was a tough loss. Champions always have to go thru this type of game/outing. How Alcala and the rest of the team responds is what’s important. Learn from the mistakes. The team could have manufactured another run or two earlier in the game and rendered the implosion moot. Baldelli and staff could have pulled him sooner and slowed the game down…. Its all hindsight. Move on and win the next series.
  20. With some positive luck and solid play, we can take all 3. We are better than our current record.
  21. Brutal 19 pitches by Alcala. Better days ahead boys!!! Keep your heads up!!! Cleveland has lost 3 in a row. Lets go take 3 in SD and no one will care about this loss.
