    @chpettit19 I agree with your post. They should have just retooled or burnt it all down. Or been light sellers and got maybe better next year but probably not. The best thing they did was delete C4’s contract. The worst thing they did was delete young cheap pitching. They clearly don’t value relievers at all.

    Was just reading that C4 has told the Astro’s press that he has wanted to play 3B for a couple of years but that the Twins didn't have anyone and didn’t bring in anyone to play SS so he was stuck there. slap in the face to Lewis and Lee and the whole FO. Might also be why we have drafted 37 SS’s in the last 3 years….. take it for what it’s worth…..

    I would rather get almost nothing in return than pay for him to play against us. That being said, its business and talent costs money…..

    Like the stock market. Sample sizes constantly move and are put into perspective differently by different people. What you take out of any sample is all relative to your own perspective.

    Every contending team is just one injury away from being mediocre. Any team with the right package might pry away Duran or Jax but it’s a steep price. I doubt a GM will be willing to give up as much as what is being asked for. Trade % is probably below 20%. With a probable sale and a strong minors system, the FO has very little reason to off load controllable assets unless a considerable overpay is proposed.

    Thats quite the cherry pick. Duran has 4 times as much war this season and even if you leave out the 2021 season of Jax. (-1.1), Duran has more career war ‘22-25. Both are invaluable and neither of them should be traded.

    Duran still sits at 100-102 velo and he is 27. Just pay him 💰. Jax, he needs to stay because the org does NOT have a guy to fill his shoes ready. If they keep trending towards SP openers/bulk innings specialists, we will need 2/3 stoppers and 2 closers. It would be plain stupid to trade either guy. The new owner just needs to pay them both. 💰💰

    Priellipp’s got a chance at a cup of coffee in Sept inMLB if Columbe is traded. If he doesn’t, no big deal because next season he will be knocking the door down. Hildago heading to AA is pretty awesome! Time for the next step in his development!

    @DocBauer I think Bflo will get a shot at a HC position again at some point in his career. He will likely be with us for a couple more years unless this year’s defense is historic. We have the players and we have the coordinator so we may just do something special and that would get him hired as a HC in ‘26. ‘26.& He may also decide that he wants to stay here and be a part of the Vikes for years. Not sure if there is any inside knowledge about his thoughts on that but it would be a good guess that he wants more than just a D coordinator title.

    Earl Weaver had a .583 career win percentage and is in the HOF. Baldelli is about 20 years behind him while being on a similar career path 🤔🤪
