  1. Beggars can’t be choosy. I believe Julien is a better start at 2b tomorrow than either Martin or Farmer.
  2. Martin doesn’t hit much and is not really a very good fielder. They might as well bring back Julien to play 2b and send Martin back to the Saints.
  3. Margot is likely one of the three top outfielder options against a left handed starter. I do agree that pitch hitting so early in a game doesn’t make alot of sense.
  4. Every day, as in never takes a day off? Or should he get a day off against a lefty starter? Or if he is a massive slump like he started the season?
  5. Not for Joe Mayer, but for Randy Bush, yes. It is ok to have Margot and Wallner both on the active roster. They both have value.
  6. That is what I thought. Sorry, but after so many posts ripping ownership. Many of them baseless. I finally snapped and picked yours to reply to.
  7. Who exactly did you want them to trade for? Where should the payroll be set at?
  8. 10 year veteran including 2 world championships, yet he isn’t MLB caliber. I wonder how he has fooled everyone for so long??
  9. I think you forgot about the greedy owners and inept front office.
  10. I am not a big fan of defensive metrics, it is just my opinion, but I would rather see Margot in CF than Wallner and feel he is equal option to Martin or Castro
  11. I know it is the cool thing to do to crap on Margot, but despite his shortcomings he is still the third best defensive outfielder on the roster. And to think that some random minor leaguer can hit lefties better than he does is fools gold. If used correctly, he provides value to a roster.
  12. Despite his shortcomings, he is still a better fielder than Wallner and much better at hitting lefties. I prefer him as a bench piece for the playoffs over an unproven rookie like Keirsey
  13. Kyle Farmer isn’t the everyday 2nd baseman currently, Castro is. Lee would be taking way more at bats away from him than Farmer
  14. So you would bench Larnach or Castro in favor on Lee?? Farmer does start against lefties, how has he done the last two months against them?? How has Lee historically done against lefties?? How many starts has Lee got at 2b??
  15. So Larnach goes to the bench if Castro starts in LF??
  16. Where. Farmer gets barely 2 starts a week???
