    Re Aaron's comment regarding plantar fasciitis: Checked online; " Plantar fasciitis may present bilaterally in a third of the cases . Therefore, not random that Correa's had it in both heels.

    Plantar fasciitis tends to be chronic. Correa has famously failed physicals (twice) before. Bit of a catch-22, but the heel issue could be a significant factor in his remaining a Twin.

    Ironically, and catch-22ishly, plantar fasciitis may well keep Correa a Twin. That's great, now just increase the damn payroll.

    I'd never thought of this before right now, but maybe as he ages (31 in Dec.), he'll become a corner outfielder. Might sound unthinkable now, but we shall see. Lot of years left on his contract.

    Well written article, Matt. Well articulated. Thank you. As Audra said in her post, this really is hard to wrap your head around. This collapse seemed excruciatingly slow and lightning quick simultaneously; to me, anyway. Gonna take time.

    Again, with the "we don't deserve it" schtick. Makes no sense. They're not going to win 5 in a row, because they are playing really poorly. Still want to see how it plays out, though. Isn't that why we're fans?

    If the Twins make the playoffs, and end up looking as flat as the Jays did against them last year, I'd STILL want them in. That's my point of view, and I'm sticking to it. I know they're not very good, but they "don't deserve it" ...what does that even mean??
