  1. Which is pretty amazing since I bet there are less than 25 a year. The only thing to argue is whether a challenge gets granted or not. I guess once they are out of challenges then you might argue a call. Then you will just get " your players should of saved their challenges " from the ump.
  2. I do. We had Servais. Huge swing and miss, wait watched a fastball down the middle and struck out again. Pohlads and management sucks, it's ok to admit it.
  3. Been a fan since 1964, when I saw my first game. Far and away the most disappointed in management in all those years was this one. Some was just outright stupidity. Giving up Varland who was under control until 2030 and pissing away Castro was just outright malpractice. Please don't tell me about potential of the trades. Castro is what everyone single team needs and Varland was gold 1. Because what he had become from where he was to PR gold as a local boy (ever heard of Joe Mauer). Save me the $ argument, Twins will never be a serious MLB team ever. That sucks as a fan.
  4. Everybody gets on me when I post that Rocco is a sub-par manager, but as always he comes through and proves me right. In game decision making and when to use the bullen are not his strong suit.
  5. Not Unpopular, just a bad opinion. I ran it at a AAA park the last 2 years average time for all AAA was somewhere under17 seconds and typically 15 seconds. In the Majors it will be at least that fast due to expectations. Wildly popular with fans no complaints on time. In addition there will not be but a few during games in the majors because umpires learn the strike zone quickly and don't like being wrong a typical game may be extended by 90 seconds worst case scenario. I get that you may not like the technology but this is just silly to complain on the time aspect.
  6. Like your rationals especially on Jax, why risk him at starter when he is a above average reliever. Don't think we should trade Duran unless tge return is amazing and it won't be.Agree on Camargo and Winkler. Good with taking on Profar 3-4 years tops. Only wish we could get Sasaki.
  7. Two driving factors: 1 what is the return? 2. Does that return create a higher value for potential new owners? Not sure Pohlads trade away anything that makes them more $. But if you get an exciting young core out of the trade which knowing the Twins is unlikely then maybe.
  8. Agreed! So far we should trade our entire team per these articles...
  9. Said it before and will say it again. Rocco overmanages based on analytics. How much does it affect the games? Hard to say because he can only manage based on analytics which means we could save his salary and have AI as the manager. Don't care what your numbers show, good managers know when to use analytics and when not to, they know their players get hot and get cold. They know that there are outside factors that affect the players. Good managers manage not just look at analytics and completely trust them.
  10. I have felt like Duran isn't being able to call his own game and his comments proved that true. Catchers call the pitches as they should but great closers know their stuff, especially during the game and throw what is working. I probably wrong but I feel like Rocco overmanages all the time He is a 100% analytics guy and doesn't do a good job of managing situations based on the moment he relies completely on analytics, which is great when it works but the great managers have an interesting feel for the game.
  11. This is the second year of Full ABS and the challenge system in AAA. Both versions work amazingly and either version would cure the issues that you reported as far as balls and strikes and instant correction. Hope to see it in thr Bigs soon!!
  12. Not a fan of Rocco, his managing style is 100% data driven, continues to amaze me the opportunities to make managing decisions instead chooses his booklet instead. Great managers know when to make decisions that aren't data driven.
