B. They haven’t improved the team, but the additions they’ve made have all been sensible, and the farm system got better. I think Falvey is saving resources for one big pitcher move, either during ST or at the deadline.
Martin on the opening day 26 makes a lot of sense to me. If Buxton is healthy, great, but it's still nice to have a third option in CF to make sure he stays that way. Castro will be playing all over.
well thought out, and you might be right. It only takes a couple extra-inning close plays at the plate to be worth the roster spot, and we'll generally have a good hitter or two on the bench to sub in if it doesn't work.
I really like the 30-man roster. This team is going to have an attitude and they will be hard to beat. Let's hope a couple of the new relievers work out.
Definitely yes to all of it in 2020, whatever they can do to get on the field, even if there are no fans. And one day we can all look back on it and... maybe laugh? And I vote to keep the Universal DH going forward. It is going to happen someday soon anyway.
The bigger nightmare would be doing nothing and finding out after the fact that doing nothing caused the virus to spread and kill people. Pretty sure they can figure out a way to reschedule things, especially now that they have the time. The world economy is going to have issues for awhlie, and every business including MLB will be affected financially regardless.
