    So frustrating/maddening that they need a team meeting to play like professionals.

    I would go with Joe Mauer who started at 22 and took off right away. He was a big part of the team making the playoffs. Close second would be Berrios who also started at 22. He had a rough first season but went on to be one of the best pitchers the Twins had since Johan Santana.

    It is nice that you are trying to put a positive spin on this! But it is a bad team. All teams have injuries so that reason doesn't hold. I would say the only potential stars are Correa and Lewis. I love Buxton but he is always hurt or struggling. I blame it mostly on cutting payroll and some horrible trades.

    They sure are not KAT or ANT. So happily surprised in the development of these two. They played their hearts out! Is it the coaching? Was it a good recruiting effort. I checked and the Timberwolves are at the bottom of payroll.

    He is very much needed since the offense is struggling to produce runs. I feel bad for all the pitchers. I think they pitch better when they have lead. The pitching staff can throw a gem and still lose!

    MLB announced free MLB.TV on Mothers Day weekend and then had the nerve to black them out. Probably part of their agreements with Bally's etc.

    You don't sound bitter. Eventually most without access will stop caring. Hard to love a team when you don't know what they look like. You can't see the fake players run the bases and the excitement of a homerun or great play in the field.

    Seems to me that Martin should have learned all he can in AAA. He was drafted in the first round in 2020. If he isn't ready by now, will he ever be? Quotes from 2020 draft site "This is a nice get for the Blue Jays, landing the best pure hitter in the Draft at No. 5 after most of us thought he would go second overall. There is no question in my mind that he is going to hit. In addition, he has some deceptive power and is a quality athlete with the versatility to play a lot of positions. There were some questions about his throwing this spring, so announcing him as shortstop is interesting, but it’s worth seeing if he can play there. At worst, he should be able to play a solid second base and center field.

    I want them to keep Martin up. They need to see what he has.

    'He has become must-watch excitement when taking the field." If only we could WATCH. MLB had free games for Mother's day weekend but of course they were blacked out. Not exactly a selling point for MLB TV, Hard to get to know the players when you do not get to see them.

    I have thought they did not do spring training right. So maybe April was their spring training.

    Blocking out most of MN is horrible. Is there any satellite services that still broadcast the Twins. I cannot believe the Twins signed a contract when they knew most Minnesota fans have no way to watch the team. They lowered the payroll and then got the $$$$ but have not spent any to upgrade. This makes no sense at all, There should have been something in the contract that would require Bally's to contract with all satellite companies.

    You are right so ONLY 1 game all year! I suppose that is because of the Bally's deal.

    He needs to be brought up for sure. I am sure ping ponging back and forth is not good for his confidence. Time to let it ride on Martin!

    Looked at the schedule and it seems like they will be on Fox once in June and once in July. That seems to be much less than in the last few years.

    I know it is not certain yet but history makes me think it might be.

    I love Buxton but if this injury is serious (60+ day IL) is it time to do something? If yes, what are the options?
