Carnac: Jamey Carroll.

Ed: Jamey Carroll. Fine player. Gritty. Solid. A gamer.

Carnac: (double take) Thank you for the insights, Vin Scully.

Ed: I appreciate the game played the right way, Your Magnificence.

Carnac: May the fleas of a thousand reindeer infest your Christmas tree.

Ed: (But Johnny, it's not Christm... never mind.) Hey yo! And the envelope?

Carnac: Who is the oldest major leaguer to achieve his 1000th hit?

Ed: That's not a Carnac question.

Carnac: I know. I just wanted to throw that out there for consideration.

I've been to one in Japan. About 20 yrs ago. In Hamamatsu.

We lived in Japan for 6 1/2 yrs. Loved it.

They have DQs in America too. You should try one.

I grew up with a DQ sign flashing into my bedroom window when I was a kid. It was some kind of subliminal mind control ... I have a difficult time NOT stopping at a DQ when I see one.

Did you get to see Nishi play?

I don't think so. We left in 2003 and I don't think he was in the "majors" there yet. Not sure. I did watch a decent amount of baseball there. I lived less than an hour from the Seibu Lions home park.

I have the same problem when driving through the red light district.

I think that was prolly the lights on the cop cars, and your parents just told you it was a "flashing DQ sign."

Beaten to the punch. Again.

There are Japanese women there, which is obviously a very good thing.

I don't even have to click to the link to know the details of that game.

Thanks. Thanks a lot.

You're welcome. Of course, the Twins had Ron Davis, the Indians not so much

Any of you do TRX or ViPR workouts?

No, but lately I've been doing some PBR.

Can you give me the famous quote that came out of that game?

I read somewhere it's got the highest concentration of Japanese women of any country in the world.

"It's hard to throw with both hands around your neck." -- Gary Gaetti

Gaetti -- something about it's hard to play baseball with both your hands around your neck?

I've heard the population is very dense, as well. Must be more blondes there than I realized.

I know that Chief plays the "Old Man's" card, and it is a role that suits him well. In all reality, is Chief really that old? Is Chief older than 60? If he is not, We as TD participants have been defrauded.:)

I remember walking along in Amsterdam, NOT in the red light district. I was walking by an apartment building, and some woman started rapping on the window and motioning me to come over. Being a gentleman, I walked over to the window to see how I might help her. Only when I got there did I realize that she was hoping to persuade me to exchange cash for happiness.

I don't think he's really that much older than me, tbh. But he plays it well, so I tell people he's way older than me.

The Chief plays his cards too close to the vest to confirm or deny that kinda demographic data. Let's just say I was around for opening day.

I think that may be only because San Francisco is not a country.

Chief is older than beer. Beer is colder than whiskey. Whiskey is better than Zima. Zima is better than nothing. Nothing is better than sex.

So Chief is older than sex. I think.
