Think about Runs... Every time a runner crosses home plate a run is put up on the board. At the end of the game... The Team that produces the most runs is the winner. The Twins haven't scored a run in 19 innings. I'd like to complain about the pitching but we haven't scored a run in 19 innings. 2. Think about David Price... We haven't scored a run in 19 innings and now we get to face David Price 3. Think about Oswaldo Arcia... We are facing a tough lefthander and the left handed hitting Arcia is on the bench... I assume because we are facing a tough lefthander. 4. Think about Chris Colabello... Arcia is on the bench because we are facing a tough lefthander... Yet... The Right handed Colabello is on the bench in favor of the left handed hitting Parmelee. 5. Think about Insomnia... I had been dealing with a little insomnia the past few weeks but I've found a cure for it... Turns out... I just needed to get some sleep. I got some sleep and the insomnia was cured.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 If sleep hadn't cured your insomnia, watching a few more innings from an offense where Brian Dozier constitutes a 3-hole hitter should do it.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 Is everyone watching the Vikes?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 If Doumit ran like Ben Revere... He would have been safe.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Is everyone watching the Vikes? They are as frustrating as the Twins.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 They are as frustrating as the Twins.Watching Vikings and keeping an eye on the Twins gamecast. So technology has granted me the ability to have each eye bleed from a different cause.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Twins probably should have forfeited when Price failed to injury himself during warmup.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 C'mon TD regulars, make it to page 2!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 C'mon TD regulars, make it to page 2!Twins already have two more hits than I expected. Yay! We there yet?
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 C'mon TD regulars, make it to page 2! A run might help.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Oh well. I tried. Don't give up -- the Twins now have baserunners with no outs.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 First and second, nobody out, most teams' fans would be saying "how many runs", Twins' fans are saying "how will we blow it?"
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I'm about to renounce my Vikings fanship...
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I'm about to renounce my Vikings fanship... and there it goes.
Alex Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 So, lose in the closing seconds in Chicago and back at Target Field the Twins now have how many scoreless innings?
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 We now have two teams playing for a high draft pick:http://www.borderlinefunny.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/nfl-draft.jpg
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Welcome Vikings fans. My condolences for your loss.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Some days having picture in a picture so you can watch 2 games is a really bad thing, today was one of those days.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Another runner on first with no outs. Let's score this inning.
Alex Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 C'mon TD regulars, make it to page 2! Fun with numbers: More posts here than fans at the stands by the ninth? FYI, Chicago Cubs in 1968 apparently did not score in 48 innings. They also were shut out 4 times in a row which has happened 11 more times since then. We're threatening now, though...but a K and DP should do the trick.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Hammer time. A home run would tie this game.

It's safe to say that if the weather were nicer, there would easily be twice as many 9th inning faithful as there are game thread posts. '68 Cubs went 84-78. Twins are achieving their streak the hard way, by actually being so inept that being shut out three or four times in a row isn't an anomaly, it's justice.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Woohoo! B!tching about offensive ineptitude causes runs to score. I want a raise!
