Think About Canada... It's an invasion from Canada... You know it's just a matter of time before Canada Citizens en masse blow past the border and starts claiming warmer American land for themselves. No reason to guard the current border. They will swing around and go straight after Florida. A warm state and two hockey teams. It's only a matter of time. Think about the Canadian Dollar... The Blue Jays spent a ton on the 2013 squad... High expectations eh?... High expectations were not met. The Blue Jays are a big slump away from drafting before the Twins. 3. Think about RF or LF... Where does Arcia Play? I understand that Thomas can move around a little. So can Arcia I guess. 4. Think about Brett Lawrie... He hasn't hit like expected but the guy is a treat to watch play 3B. Somebody get Trevor Plouffe a notepad and have him take notes. 5. Think about Fishing... Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day... Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Put up some token resistance on the eastern flank, and let them shoot straight down to Mexico if they want the warmer weather. Best case, maybe they pillage Texas as they pass through - heck, they can take it along for a souvenir for all I care.

glunn Community Moderator Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Think about Olivia. In some distant universe she watches over trillions of her subjects, including all of us, and weighs whether to shine her karma on those who are deserving.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 How's this for karma: 2 day before Jays come to town, Jose Bautista shut down for the season
GCTF Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 How's this for karma: 2 day before Jays come to town, Jose Bautista shut down for the season He'll have a hard time hitting his usual 6 homeruns in 3 games at TF on the shelf.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Nice maple leafs on that one in the middle. It's fall in Canada, too. Leaves should be falling this time of year, eh?

ashbury Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Welp, a run scored, on no hits and no walks... I suppose a bunch of cheap unearned runs is how Pelfrey has squeaked out a decent July-August ERA... checking... nope, eh?
GCTF Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 It's fall in Canada, too. Leaves should be falling this time of year, eh? I assure you it's still summer here. 33 C, 91 F today. Just finished hailing right before first pitch.

See, that's why I'd never live in Canada, eh? It takes them two numbers just to tell you how cold it is outside, eh? And they have to sing the Star Spangled Banner twice before each baseball game, once in English and once in Montreal-ese, eh?

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 With a man, eh?Lol. Not in that way. I'm with my dad. My mom and I took him out of rehab facility this evening to take him for a drive. A storm swooped in and it is POURING out; driving visibility was pretty scary but I managed to get back to the rehab place. But it's still POURING and THUNDERstorming so we are unable to get from the car to inside the facility. So have the game audio going on my phone while we wait for the rain to let up.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 France?Oh I wish! Sigh. I love Paris ...
