Today is my birthday. Too bad I am still at work grinding out a project that has to be done by Monday. Fortunately, my wife is making my favorite dinner and has suggested an adult swim later tonight.

I am looking forward to it. And tomorrow we are going out with friends to dinner then a comedy club, AFTER I put in a full day at the office.

We are going to the Groundlings, where they do skits that are laced with improv. Our friends have been and say that it should be very funny.

My wife is a good Chicago Irish-Catholic girl, and I tell my kids that this means they are half Irish, half human.

 

I now have a nice collection of frying pans my wife keeps sending my direction.

I was driving down the interstate the last weekend when the Highway Patrol turned its lights on behind me.

 

I stepped on it. I took off... Got my car up to 150MPH... Changing Lanes and passing by cars like a pro.

 

Finally I thought to myself... What am I doing and I pulled over.

 

Highway Patrol Officer comes up to my window and says: What the hell are you doing?

 

I told him: My wife left me for a highway patrol officer... I was worried you were going to give her back.

Coomer's blaming Hermann for missing the bunt- says you need to get a really good jump at 2nd and if the hitter bunts through the ball you can easily get hung up.

 

I'm not necessarily agreeing, just reporting. I'd disagree with the whole idea of bunting there, personally.

God: Idaho... That sermon was so well done... I've decided to grant you anything. One Thing... You name it.

 

Idaho: I think a Bridge to Hawaii would be wonderful... I'd like to be able to drive there.

 

God: your request is very materialistic... Think of the logistics... The supports required to reach the bottom of the ocean... The concrete and steel it would take. I can do it but its hard to justify your desire for worldly things. Why don't you take a little more time and come up with something else.

 

Idaho: Ok... Women... I'd like to understand women... Truly understand them... What do they feel deep down inside... What makes them happy... What makes them cry.

 

God: Do you want that bridge to be two or four lanes.
