Regarding Herrmann, I think he's hit way better as a Twin than he did as a Red Wing. He's a decent hitter who doesn't embarrass himself either behind the plate or at an outfield corner. I think he'll earn a big league paycheck for a while. However, he shouldn't be starting 5-6 games a week.

Pretty exciting, and Detroit didn't exactly take them lightly with that lineup in a day game...

I usually go a different route and say how I've been really ill, but that I'll fill out again soon. Usually gets a more satisfying response. (Yes, I'm really mean, too.)

I don't remember what I said - it was some time ago, and my memory is not what it once was - but I must have learned something. Never done it again.

Dang, the Twins took 2 of 3 from Detroit. Doesn't that mean we're better than them? My biggest beef is, we didn't hang the loss on Verlander.
