I'm not a big fan of singing 'God Bless America' in the 7th inning. Frankly, even though Irving Berlin wrote it, I just don't think it's that great of a song.

I wish that I could have a long talk with Plouffe about changing his mindset and realizing his potential. He appears to have the tools to be a great player, but does not seem able to maintain focus.

I think that it should be legalized at Target Field at any time that the Twins are hitting less than .200 with RISP. They should have a special area for those in need of medication.

I think that it should be legalized at Target Field at any time that the Twins are hitting less than .200 with RISP. They should have a special area for those in need of medication.

They charge 7 or 8 bucks for a single beer at TF. I can't even imagine what they might charge for a single...uh...dose of medication.

heh ... doubt that would help. Mostly I don't like the song because of the melody. It's difficult to sing well, unless you are Kate Smith. Kind of like the SSB ... also a difficult song to sing well and it bugs me when people jazz it up too much or sing it like a dirge.

Chief is right on the cost concern. I bake some brownies and sneak them into the ball park.
