Linus Verified Member Posted Friday at 10:15 PM Posted Friday at 10:15 PM Love the arm and that he takes a hack at the plate - he’s the anti Lee in that regard. I would like to caution everyone that has Houston penciled in at SS next year. He needs to finish this year strong, hit in AAA and finally the bigs. I’m hopeful but it is far from given.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted Friday at 11:14 PM Posted Friday at 11:14 PM I've watched the kid play twice now at the ballpark (love calling rookies kids)....Based on what I've seen, the kid is a gamer. Still a little hesitant at SS, but I think that's just adjusting to a new environment, etc. The fact that he went 3-4 the other day is huge. Great confidence builder too. I'm encouraged by what I've seen so far. Mike Sixel 1

Then sliding to his natural position 2nd base. They could be our Trammell - Whitaker double play combo. Relax, comical Mike Sixel 1
AlLagoon Verified Member Posted yesterday at 03:31 AM Posted yesterday at 03:31 AM Man, what a problem to have, 2 young shortstops of the quality of Culpepper and Houston. Someone earlier mentioned that Culpepper just looks the part, and having watched Houston live, that's exactly my evaluation. Then again, I always thought the same thing about Will Holland.
