But that's part of Byrons history with Twins. And yes so many times, like now, he looks lost at the plate. Lewis the same thing. Sunday I think the Twins will win big. Then everyone will be telling us how great they are. The team at least record wise and standings wise isn't much different from their position last year. Even after all those trades they are still stuck in mediocrity. Which is pretty good in the American.League I guess. Go Twins! Buxton has struggled since coming back from his recent injury, and hopefully he can get it going. But to say Lewis is lost I don't understand. He has cooled off since his hot streak after coming from St. Paul. But he has drawing walks, laying off the outside pitch more and taking better AB's. Without his double last night, Roden's single would have just been a base hit and no RBI. Give him this year and see what he can do, he has shown signs that he can turn it around. And he is one of the most talented players on this team, so you should root for him to start showing it on the field which he needs to do. Because this team will be much better if he can do it. I agree, start extending his outings and make him a starter. I think they need to stretch Rojas out. He’s now the 6th starter unless we trade for one and Prielipp is good to hit an innings limit soon. HarmonK03 1
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Hey, I agree with you on Lewis. One key to the second half offense is gonna be him, Lee, and Keaschall hitting. Those three are the best of the complementary bats. This offense can be potent if those three hit to go with Buxton, Jeffers (if he’s still here). and Bell, with Clemens and Caratini pretty much wild cards.
