Culpepper needs to be up here when healthy, they rearranged the infield in preparation for him.  Kreidler is not the answer as a starter.  You don't move your starting shortstop for the next guy and then not bring him up.

Harmon - get over it.   You are not the determining factor.   The players union and league are the ones determining this.  The players think there is an 80% chance of a lockout.  You don't take the risk of delaying the progress of your prospects for a month worth of play at the MLB level in a season that likely doesn't matter.

I think you have to give Lewis until the end of the year before making any decisions.  He is taking better at bat's, yes he still needs to lay that outside sweeper more consistently but he has gotten better.  I don't think you give up on him yet, especially with no one really pushing for his spot.

Read my post, the Twins were planning for this earlier this season, if you can't see that, then I don't know what to tell you.  You have your opinion about how the lockout might affect decisions and I have mine.

Fun stat of the day from Gleeman:

Gavin Williams has a 2.82 ERA in 10 career starts vs. the Twins, holding them to a .201 batting average and .270 slugging percentage.

Fun-------   Nah

Taj has always had talent.   He had to decide he wanted to get better and learn what it takes to be a professional.   Doing the pregame work and improving his pitches has made a world of difference.   Its why even last year you could see the glimmers.  I won't completely trash Tampa,  but at the same time they allowed his mechanics to get completely out of whack.

So Clemens just went thru a 0 for 19 stretch, Kreidler is currently 0 for 11.  What is your point, players slump all the time.

It doesn't matter what the plan was in May,  It is what is the plan now and where is the current team dynamics,  where are the current CBA negotiations and ect.    If that was the plan then they weren't able to execute because no one is up.  When they have had chances to send players up guess who they sent up.  Fedko and Roden.  It tells you all you need to know.

I will bow down to your expertise and send your resume to Zoll, because you know all.

I find all the Culpepper talk to be moot at this point - maybe once he gets off the IL for longer than a couple of weeks we can have this talk, but he hasn't. We have the best option in the short stop position right now. Will that change in the future? Look, even I can admit that I hope it does. But without Culpepper being healthy, it doesn't matter.

I don't know all.  Truly don't but this has been something out there already.   Their actions show the way Harmon.  If the goal was to send them up and as you said Jenkins has been back for a month,  why don't they switch him with Roden who you think is nothing but a 4th outfielder?  Whats the reasoning Harmon?  You will likely state GM mistakes which is then going after Zoll.   Just look at the big picture.
