It's possible Kriedler is who we thought he was, alas. And Lewis has stopped hitting. Methinks the Culpepper/Houston era can't start soon enough (with Clemens or someone else at first).

The Dilemma is the Culpepper/Jenkins era doesn't likely start this year.    If they are turning into pumpkins we most likely sell at the deadline.

Agreed. I really think they'll hold them both back. I hope to be wrong, oddly, since I want them getting experience this year.....

I agree, but we need them to get experience this offseason and next spring in the minors if there is a stalemate on the CBA.

I think you have to give Lewis until the end of the year before making any decisions.  He is taking better at bat's, yes he still needs to lay that outside sweeper more consistently but he has gotten better.  I don't think you give up on him yet, especially with no one really pushing for his spot.

Culpepper needs to be up here when healthy, they rearranged the infield in preparation for him.  Kreidler is not the answer as a starter.  You don't move your starting shortstop for the next guy and then not bring him up.
