If they could get a legit pitching prospect for Lewis, I'd deal him right now.

The top 10 of that draft was pretty rough.

Hunter Greene went 2nd and has looked good for a couple years, but just made his 2026 debut a couple weeks ago after being out with elbow issues. 

Mackenzie Gore went 3rd and has been basically a #4 starter since he got to the majors.

Other than that... lots of whiffs

Was wondering why no Larnach or Roden against Williams (RHP), then remembered that he has opposite splits (RHB hit better than LHP against him). Larnach is 0-12 against Williams, Roden 0-7.

Gore has been much better than a 4.....

But, ya, that draft didn't turn out well for most.

I feel like the idea of MacKenzie Gore has always been much more than actual MacKenzie Gore

Fangraphs WAR has him much better .....he's been on the field, and he's eaten innings, and his expected ERA is better than league average. I think we are nitpicking between a 3 and  4 though....but I'd love him in MN.
