Which ex-Twin are you rooting for most right now? (2025 Deadline)

I would take France back in a heartbeat from the Padres. I know there is zero chance we could get Varland back.

Totally different vein, Farmer.

Loved his grit, blue collar, lunch-box demeanor. Took a fast ball in the mouth, 35 stitches, oral surgery to move teeth back into place and is back on the field in less than a month.

Now, at age 34, playing for the Braves, his 5th team. Might get the ring after all.

Duran for me. 

I always enjoyed watching him pitch and even if you disagree with the players we got back (I don't), it was a trade that made sense.

Rooting for Varland is just too painful because that was always the trade that made the least sense.

Some of the non-Varland trades you can point at and say "See! Cheap Pohlads!" but the Varland trade is just "See! Overconfident Front Office," which isn't nearly as fun.

Duran. He's a great closer and a workhorse. He's on the IL right now, but threw a bullpen yesterday and is expected to be back soon.
