Rays get big hits, Twins get 2nd and 3rd no outs where a ground ball to the right could possibly get you 2 runs if you go it twice.  The opposite happens and you strike out twice and get nothing.  This is the Twins in a nutshell.

They could have taken control of last night's game right off the bat with three, four runs. Nope. Same here one single would have made it smoke run game. One sac fly even.. FFS. Are they pressing because Caratini doesn't trust Clemens doesn't trust Royce? So they have to do it all themselves? Turns out.. they do.

Baldelli refused to let a young guy go ,  Shelton been far from perfect but if they keep getting the young guys chances to see what we got ,  the dead weight  hopefully  gets sorted out for mainly Next year ,

I do admire the fortitude of Joe and Taj to stick with it on nights where they're getting hot around. At least they are saving the bullpen for our one or two wins a week.

I have little issue with Shelton's game managing.. very hands off actually and the lineups largely make some sense.
