Big Deal... I need new Windows in my house and I've been losing money on my heating and cooling bills as a result for years. That losing streak makes the Twins current streak look like a walk in the park. The Twins have plenty of left handed hitters to take a shot at the short RF porch and a right hander on the mound. Of course... Not striking out in double digits will help a bunch. Diamond the ports idea wil toe the rubber for the Twins.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Diamond the ports idea wil toe the rubber for the Twins. The idea being, we're switching from Margaritas to Ports? Sure, it's after dinner.

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Yes, yes, the auto-correct feature always explains why I zlkjnadsjlkfnasdfuyb.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 So, what are the chances they actually win one of these games?

Maybe if you made a financial commitment to the product you would see a better return. Or... is that trolling?
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Maybe if you made a financial commitment to the product you would see a better return. Or... is that trolling? Don't blame the front office (wife); the manager clearly left the SW (starting windows) in too long.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I can't wait to see how this series turns out. (mild case of sarcasm)
James Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 So, what are the chances they actually win one of these games?I tried to calculate the odds. Unfortunately, my excel spreadsheet just returned a value of "James, You're going to want to have a drink before this number is displayed."

Lucky.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Only by three laps. Plenty of time to catch up.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hoping to see some productive outs tonight! Baby steps.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Actually, I like the lineup. Packed with LH bats, perhaps someone will find the short porch in RF, maybe a few someones.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Hoping to see some productive outs tonight! Baby steps. I will settle for contact... If we F6 27 Times tonight. I will consider it good.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 If we F6 27 Times tonight. I will consider it good. At a certain level I don't care how the 27 outs come about, so long as we have about 16 additional plate appearances (and only a couple LOB). Let me amend that. My main hope is that the opponents tonight make 27 outs of their own. I will consider that good.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hoping to see some productive outs tonight! Baby steps. Yes, but you really should clarify by which team...
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Actually, I like the lineup. Packed with LH bats, perhaps someone will find the short porch in RF, maybe a few someones. Exactly what I was thinking, I especially like Parmelee in the 2-hole in front of Mauer, Parm has an excellent chance to go deep tonight.

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I was meditating and had a vision of some things that will transpire in tonight's game. Although this vision was somewhat hazy, the certainty I took from this vision was that two players of Japanese descent will lead their team to victory. This vision did not indicate if it was the Twins or Yankees who would win.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 The Yanks get a lead off homer in the bottom of the tenth? *shrug* If you'll guarantee me exactly 27 Yankee outs, I'll take my chances. 24, 25, 26, 28... are a different story.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 This vision did not indicate if it was the Twins or Yankees who would win. Wow! A last minute re-signing of Nishioka (plus some other guy) plus this outcome will be the greatest comeback in sports history!
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Wow! A last minute re-signing of Nishioka (plus some other guy) plus this outcome will be the greatest comeback in sports history! I get it. Bark's Lounge's thread post = sucked.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 So, what are the chances they actually win one of these games? I have to say, I really admire the G-string I just noticed in your avatar.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I've been wondering, does Bark's Lounge have barcaloungers? http://www.modreactor.com/forum/images/smilies/438_rubbing_chin.gif
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Wow! A last minute re-signing of Nishioka (plus some other guy) plus this outcome will be the greatest comeback in sports history! If we call him Arciaki... Will that work? I think Arciaki will wear the Victory Kimono and Cherry Blossom tonight. After 7 strikeouts in the two days... I think he will be Samurai like with a strong rebound and short porch.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I get it. Bark's Lounge's thread post = sucked. Bark's Lounge's thread post > Nishioka's MLB career
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 I get it. Bark's Lounge's thread post = sucked. They all can't be Grade A... Sometimes Grade D and in between. Grade D is my middle name.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Time for me to go awol for the next 48 hours, hopefully my return to civilization comes with a Twins sweep*. *the good kind of sweep

At the risk of joining you in banishment for ethnic insensitivity, I'll go along in wishing Oswaldo-san the best of luck tonight in keeping with Bark's prophecy.
