I don't think it will be any more likely to happen with Brosmer. 

I really wish Brosmer would have landed somewhere else. The Jets or Raiders? Maybe he's even starting now.

This is really a no-win situation for the Vikings. I've long disliked the home-town player angle with the Twins because the team gives them too long of a leash and the local fans care more about the story than the production and ownership will lean into it to make money. It's never bothered me with the Vikings because the league is so much more cutthroat.

But imagine if Brosmer started today and did everything Wentz has done; Minnesota fans would have been tripping all over themselves trying to excuse the poor play.
