Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Desperately searching for a silver lining… Hatch as a reliever looks like a decent major league pitcher. that’s all I got, and it’s pretty pathetic Patzky 1

SteveLV Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Nice effort by the local 9. I think it is pretty clear that they have quit for the season and are lining up their off-season fishing and vacation plans at this point. Martin and Keaschall with the 3 hits, rest of the lineup 0-fer the day. This team is going to get gutted over the winter, and justifiably so. I wonder if Buxton is having any second thoughts on his No Trade position? I know I would.... Giving Pittsburgh a run for their money for the top lottery position, too! Parfigliano 1

ashbury Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Bad luck that we had to face perennial Cy Young candidate (checks box score) Slade Cecconi today.

Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Game to start soon .... Looking at today's box score along with someone posting on TD or twins game thread that the players are playing for personal pride and a job for 2026 .... Boy it's hard to see from box score and I watched the game today , hans solo Ryan and his experiment wasn't good , players swinging freely at pitches down and off the plate and even some high one they couldn't catch up to , IT WAS TERRIBLE BATTING PRACTICE DURING THE GAME ... Keaschall and Martin get the 3 hits between them ... We got to do better , we sold at deadline but so did other teams and the other teams seem to be doing better with their new faces , and either holding their own or actually some are back in the wild card race , twins got hardly anyone in return that was major league ready to step in and help ... We need Ober to be sharp for 6 innings and cross out fingers on the bullpen ... Shortround , what's the question of the game ??? Patzky 1
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 If we get swept in 4 game series , one might have to be concerned that a certain person is in collusion with another team , possible because some people will sell their souls for money ...
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 The twins pitchers have to find a way to shut down the 2 out rallies , all runs scored with 2 outs i believe in first game ... Twins pitchers need to limit the homeruns allowed , 5 in first game ... Don't pitch to Ramirez unless bases are empty ... Parfigliano 1
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 TC 6-9 hitters pretty much says it all. Patzky 1

Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Stanton hit his 450th home run today. That kind of snuck up on me. Does he have a chance at 500?
