SD happy Verified Member Posted July 31, 2025 Posted July 31, 2025 If this trade was for Jax, I would have been very happy. With Duran, I felt like we were holding a winning hand. I feel like we blinked and folded too soon. The one frustration I have is the FO committing to the trade yesterday. I wish they would have had the Phillies, Dodgers, Mariners, etc sleep on it and see if they would start getting a little panicky and overpay the closer we got to the deadline. AceBee and Hubie29 2

He is just hitting his stride. Probably be an allstar in 2026. On another note…. Mick Abel’s 2025 WAR = .4 C4’s 2025 WAR = .1
AceBee Verified Member Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 My feeling is that FO is counting on Duran to become injury prone (after heavy usage with the Twins) for this trade to work in favor of them
